La Sentidos Loca – WiganAbsolutely love this place. The atmosphere is relaxed, staff are friendly and helpful. Welcoming. Great food. Honestly- go- you will not be disappointed
Crowded House – BuryHad a lovely meal at Ciao. Lovely family run business, great atmosphere.
Ciao Ristorante – StockportThe food is really good here. I'd also recommend a glass of pomegranate wine with it! Service was good and it was a quiet and calm atmosphere. I thought the prices were really reasonable. We were a party of 3 and had a lot of food; it only came to £70.
Armenian Taverna and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreWhat an amazing find, live not far away but never visited The Fox, the fish and chips wow what else can I say outstanding, will definitely be visiting again.
The Fox Roby Mill – WiganWe booked a table here on the same day we were planning to go and we were blown away with everything about this place. From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by Dave (I think that's him name) and it feels so warm. It was my birthday and my partner informed them and they managed to organise a card, balloon, candle on the cake and got the entire restaurant to sing happy birthday. The server we had Lucy was brilliant. Food came out in a timely manor, the quality is superb and everyone who works there seems happy to be there. I cannot recommend this place enough and we will be going back again and for the foreseeable future
Crowded House – BuryIt’s not the first time we’ve been to Giorgios, and every time we are made to feel so welcome by all the staff. Nick is the most amazing host, and always has a smile and a few jokes with you. The food is exceptional, and whenever we’re in town, Giorgios is always our place to go.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreAs always, a lovely family visit to this restaurant. Great service, lively atmosphere and fabulous food.
Ciao Ristorante – Stockport2nd visit, this time with friends and it didn't disappoint. A great addition to our community
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportWe had the best night! The food was fantastic but it is the staff that made the night. They are so friendly and so much fun! Thanks for a brilliant night. See you again soon. X
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportFood was amazing! Lovely service and great atmosphere. Will absolutely be back again!
A Tavola Gastronomia Siciliana – StockportStayed in Wigan for a couple of days (up from Nottingham) and stumbled across Papa Luigis by accident. It was a very happy one! They had a wide-ranging menu, the food was really good and great value for money, so really pleased we found it. If we're in Wigan again will definitely go back. :)
Papa Luigis – WiganLove this place. Food is amazing. Tried the Asian sharing platter. Was so good. Daves cocktails are the best. My Sister & Brother in law go here all the time. Ive only recently moved to Whitefield & will be going here lot more. Really nice vibe, service is amazing. Looking forward to going back soon.
Crowded House – BuryWe have had several meals at The Fox over the last two years and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and they are very compliant with Covid requirements even though the government have lifted restrictions. I was very happy to hand sanitise, take temperature and wear a mask. They obviously are very assiduous in sanitising the tables between reservations. Unfortunately, the products used react with the varnish on the wooden tables and leave an unpleasant sticky residue. It would be great if they could cover the tables with a sheet of glass which would be easy to keep clean and would not be sticky. It is so bad that the cutlery actually sticks to the surface of the table. However, that is just a little niggle which pales into insignificance when you taste the food. Unfailingly delicious and generous portions should ensure that The Fox has many satisfied diners. Yesterday I had the pork wrapped in Parma ham with sun dried tomatoes, feta cheese and parmentier potatoes. The combination of flavours was superb and I can’t wait till the next time. My only suggestion, other than glass on the tables, would be for a smaller portion of fish and chips. My husband has little appetite and the large portions over face him. A Pensioner’s Portion would be very welcome and would help with food waste as well. All in all The Fox is a great place to meet friends and sample gorgeous food. Compliments to the chef and staff and I can’t wait till the next time.
