Fabulous birthday meal here on Saturday!!
Rosso – Manchester City CentreFoods not bad, nothing special. One of the women was very pleasant on the way in and the rest had a face like a slapped arse and looked as if they didn't like me. Icecream bowl is also crap.
Thaikhun Street Buffet – Trafford CentreWe just had a fabulous meal at Fuzion fallowfield. The pad Thai was exceptional . Full flavoured with tamarind zesty lime and salty peanut. Salt n pepper squid were a big hit. The miso soup was perfect and the deep fried tofu veg Gyozo and veg and tofu green curry all went down a treat with the veggies. We almost are it all but friendly staff bagged up the leftovers for further enjoyment tomorrow Great food. Friendly service and a laid back atmosphere. Thank you Fuzion.
Fuzion Noodle Bar – FallowfieldMe and my boyfriend went a few weeks back, we had about 6 tapas, bread and sangria for £50. All the food was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The sangria was authentic and the staff friendly and attentive. Inside the decor and atmosphere is very beautiful yetvrelaxing with canCave roof and salt walls. We would definitely recommend and can't wait to go back soon!
La Cueva Tapas – CheadleA place to die for , great sevice and great staff; We travel down from Leigh and it's very good on food. We thank one and all. Laird of Camster.
The White Room – WhitefieldWow this place is beautiful nothing like it in manchester and the food is to die for stunning. Had the lamb biriyani and also some fish pakora and some mushroom rice , the best Indian I've had ever in Rusholme and Manchester. This place beats East z East and Akbars and Zouk hands down..Very reasonable prices to just same as most places and they have a private dining room upstairs for bookings and parties. I just booked it for a girls night out for 16 of us for a birthday and they've done me a personalised menu for 20 quid a head, can't wait. 10/10 well done the staff are really friendly too, go check it out ,love the decor and the toilets are stunning.
Ziya Asian Grill – RusholmeOur indulgence is to eat at good restaurants and we thought we would give Neighbourhood a try. Unfortunately, the food was very disappointing......we ordered the bread basket at £4.50 thinking that we could ‘share’ but it was two tiny rolls that wasn’t even cooked in the middle. The NY Pretzel starter was smothered with mustard that brought tears to your eyes at first bite. The seared scollops were good but cold. The pot roast chicken thigh looked unappetising and the taste was below par. The lobster mac and cheese was swimming in a thin sauce and there were only two tiny pieces of lobster in it. We were so disappointed that we had to go to Carluccio’s nearby for coffee and dessert to cheer us up! The music was good but extremely loud and more suitable to a bar than a restaurant. Disgruntled
Neighbourhood – Manchester City CentreI can't rave about this place enough! This is simply the way all specialist pizza places should be. Amazing, locally sourced ingredients, talented chef, friendly staff
Double Zero – ChorltonWe had a few beverages in their bars attached and then approached the restaurant to grab some food. They had a greeter which always makes me sigh and an arsey bouncer. Oooh it will be an hour before you get a table. We waited patiently back in the bar and eventually were seated. Only about half the tables were full? So what was with the wait and poncey greeter? I am cured of all the burger bars that proliferate everywhere. However I must say that this was the best burger I have had yet. Cannot remember the name but it had bacon in. Please loose the naff greeter bouncer combination but well done on the food.

Porada – WhitefieldNot impressed at staff stinking her finger into a cake to check if moist! Also no cutlery
John Lewis Cafe – Trafford CentreLoved our night out, the food was amazing. Staff were so friendly would definitely be going back and recommend to my family and friends.
Stables Restaurant – HydeFantastic staff! fantastic food and quick service! Me and a few friends went over a week ago now on a Friday and had a fab night which wasn't expensive what so ever!! The deals are fab!! Happy customer!!! Wanting to return this weekend and try the Saturday deal. :)
Ruposhi Indian Restaurant – BuryI visit the Waterfold Farm once or twice a month. The food is always of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Desserts are irresistible and very generous portions served. Staff are helpful and polite and there is always a good atmosphere.
Waterfold Farm – BuryTried Mei Dim for first time, dim sum fantastic and rumour has it it's the dim sum chef from the Tai Wu.... that's says It all. Louis manager there great food and service. Soon be back.
Mei Dim – Manchester City CentreMy wife and I visited The Italian Job a few weeks ago and it was good that time but feel moved to write about our experience last night as the service was the worst I have ever experienced. They must have had a large function upstairs as waiters were constantly trooping up there with plates of food and that left all of us unfortunate enough to be downstairs with a frankly ridiculously low number of staff available, indeed sometimes there were no memebers of staff in site. We had to wait about 30 minutes for our starter but considered ourselves to be lucky compared to the tables behind us who sat there for about an hour between starter and main courses. People ended up getting up from tables to go to the downstairs bar to complain. At least they did not charge us for coffee and pudding but it was small compensation really for the appalling service. We'll give them one more try though as the food is good and this just might have been a blip, but they need to either have more staff on or start to refuse bookings if they have a big function on and they cannot cope.
