The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City Centreexcellent food and service at the coven
The Coven – WiganWe strongly recommend a visit. Good homemade food at reasonable prices and looked after by a traditional landlady.
Black Bull – BoltonVery good food and large portion with fair price. The owner and staff always give the best service. I think no one will be disappointed!!! Excellent experience at Ciao Bella!
Ciao Bella Restaurant – Manchester City CentreSuperb Thai restaurant in Chinatown,we ate a fantastic set lunch (before 4 pm 6.95 or 9.95) and what value,4 of us ate a hearty ,spicy ,tasty lunch for less than 40 quid with a drink too!!Plenty of choice in a lovely setting, best Thai in Manchester for us,and big recommendation from me.We will definitely be going again.
Try Thai – Manchester City CentreI went here last night after reading some fantastic reviews. My friend and I could not have been more disappointed!! The menu does not reflect the food that actually arrives at the table. The food is cheap and of very poor quality. As an example my friend ordered pasta with strips of beef. What arrived was pasta bolognese without the bolognaise!! It was mince meat too! When the chef came to the table he actually said people can't chew the beef that's why they mince it!! Mine was tasteless and of poor value. We waited 40 minutes just for the starters, then the glass of wine that we ordered came begrudgingly. The desserts weren't much better. I would not eat here again for free, nor would I recommend it. We weren't the only diners that left unhappy either!
Ciao Bella Restaurant – Manchester City CentreA nice surprise. Went on Friday a great selection of starters and mains. Cant understand why we haven't visited sooner. We'll definitely return.
The Rose and Crown – Boltonyes very nice place, would go again
Summat To Ate – WiganFantastic food, great service, and very good for children to go, the waggon and horses westhoughton isn't near where i live i stumbled across it but will definitely make the journey to go again and try the new menus. lovely.!
The Waggon and Horses – Westhoughtonhi i visited nam ploy last Saturday night, the surroundings, atmosphere was amazing.the food was the best Thai i have ever tasted,it was unbelievably fresh and tasty .i would only ever recommend nam ploy .the staff were really nice and efficient
Nam Ploy – Boltonabsolutely gorgeous traditional Italian food, at very good prices, lovely cosy place with a great atmosphere, and friendly staff. me and my husband are regulars at la lupa and encourage our family and friend to try and they have never been disappointed
5th time eating here and can't fault the place. Great food @ a great price... Lamb nahari is to die for,and the girlfriend has found her fav on the menu(veg karahi) And a jug of mango lassi tops the meal off. Can't wait till the Xmas menu starts... Keep up the good work.
Zouk Tea Bar – Manchester City Centrewell I went there when I got wed many years ago and it was thee best little pub then I have always loved northenden
Farmers Arms – NorthendenPoor food Poor service Poor attitude Dont visit
The Waggon and Horses – WesthoughtonWow! I've just enjoyed the most delicious sea bass ever! At Fresca, Saddleworth, the sea bass, with equally tasty tiger prawns, and served with a side dish of colourful fresh vegetables was a sheer delight. The Restaurant is modern, atmosphere buzzing and happy, and the staff are friendly but professional. And the Chef? What can I say? Fantastic!
Fresca – SaddleworthWould definitely recommend this restaurant. Relaxed welcoming atmosphere and excellent homemade food. Bread and butter pudding to die for
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyGreat meal and service. Good atmosphere but not too noisy. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will be going again soon.
Spice Garden – RamsbottomCalled for a meal last night. Our first visit since it changed hands. On entry we were ushered straight to our table without a chance to relax and have a drink at the bar whilst scanning the menu. When we received the menu the wine list was vary limited with no descriptions of any of the wines. That's the negatives over with. The staff were very friendly and polite and the food was prompt and delicious, My fillet steak was cooked just to my liking and the portions were just right, but the biggest surprise of the night was the bill. I have never had food and service of this quality for such a reasonable price. It looks like the new owners are a young couple trying to make a go of it. I wish them every success. Will I be going back? I've already booked!
