Been several times, always a good experience. Small & cosy, atmospheric, excellent food and service.

Viva Espana – HorwichThe best steaks in Manchester - or anywhere else for that matter. The service was both friendly and professional. Only disappointment were the chips, which looked like they'd been refried, and weren? frites like I'd expected, and the deserts are nothing special. Have a bigger steak instead and pass on pudding.
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreWent for the 1st time after reviews on here. Great atmosphere when you first walk in with an excellent bar area. The separate restaurant has a really nice feel to it and the menu is very extensive and quite unique. Food quality is fabulous though the service could be worked upon a little. All in all for someone who eats out several times a week and is quite hard to please this was an excellent dining experience and I would strongly recommend it
Panama Hattys – Manchester City CentreWe went to try the happy hour buffet at Sweet Mandarin. The food was extremely fresh and delicious. I liked how we could keep re-ordering from the buffet menu without moving. Exceptional value for money £9.95 each. Also loved the atmosphere and how friendly all the staff were at the restaurant. I will be coming back here with all my friends and their birthdays!
Sweet Mandarin – Northern QuarterExpected average, instead I received an outstanding main course followed by an amazing sweet. Would certainly recommend to ANYBODY! Better than anything I've tasted in Chorlton.
Bistro West 156 – Didsburytop draw service a1 best curry ive ever had drinks on the house also thanx
Standard Indian Restaurant – UrmstonSizzling chicken rocked my world. Ate so much I had to head straight home got a lovely garlicky lie down.
Coriander – ChorltonVisited this new city centre restaurant for the first time last week. What a fantastic addition to Manchester's restaurant line up! Specialising in superb char grilled meat and fish, the menu has many highlights. The Kobe beef burger (Kobe Fillet steak for £50!)looked fantastic as did the half lobster and chips. We plumped for squid, chicken skewers and clam chowder followed by fillet steak, piri piri spatchcock, chicken pot pie and roast chicken. All served with fantastic chips and crisp greens. The cocktail menu is extensive and one of party tried an after eight coffee made with creme de menthe. Not overly expensive with a two course meal for four including drinks coming to a shade under £130. Service is excellent and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. 10 out of 10!!
The Grill On the Alley – Manchester City CentreExcellent quality of food first and foremost... Something we wanted wasn't on the menu, but the staff were more than happy to understand exactly what it was we wanted, and offered to make it for us anyway. Great service from the waitress, offered to bring extra sauce when we had finished it with the starter... good all round service, and a very enjoyable meal in a nice setting. Highly recommend it
Swadesh – DidsburyThe Bangladeshi food at this restaurant is consistently superb... I've not eaten in another Indian restaurant which can rival it for the freshness and taste of their dishes. Delicious!
The Pavilion – BoltonFantastic food. Can never decide what to have, there are so many fabulous choices!
Greens – DidsburyWe visited The Pearl mot long after it had first opened and first impressions when walking through the door were excellent, its undergone major refurb since it was a brewers fayre type of place, the bar area is huge with plenty of selection of wines, beers etc Service is very attentive and the food is of a few different variants of Indian cuisine (much like Indian Ocean A-U-L) The only bad point is that with all the space and seating we were ushered into a smaller room towards the rear of the restaurant to eat in open plan with the table and seating quite close together. On the whole very good and we will visit again!!
Pearl Restaurant Bar and Lounge – Audenshawi have to say that having read the reviews on here i decided to try out this place and i was a little bit doubtful as to it living up to the remarks on here but...... great food and of a sort i have never seen let alone tried before first class in both service and food quality and we went on a tuesday for the 2-1 deal and 4 of us ate for less than £30 thanks for letting us know
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under Lynei lurrrrrrve this restaurant!!
Bilash Balti House – SwintonWe still really enjoy visiting the Choy Hing & never get bored. Thankfully there is now a lovely Chardonnay by the glass. We always ask for a downstairs sitting as the ambience is better in the downstairs restaurant than upstairs. Steve is smashing. Bring back his wife!!
Choy Hing Village – Sale"You want chippy tray"? I haven? washed the korma stain off my shirt since the first time I tasted it's creamy goodness. I particularly recommend one portion of korma, one portion of chips, 2 poppodoms, 1 naan AND LOTS OF SWEET FIZZY DELICIOUS COKE to wash it down (better make that two bottles). NB Next time you go in, ask if Abdul if working. Oh, and three little words of advice: "ALWAYS GO LARGE". Supersize me baby.
Abduls Fast Food Restaurant – Manchester City CentreExcellent food, nice atmosphere and excellent. I've eaten here about 8 times and everytime we've really enjoyed the food. Very well priced! Not sure what the previous comment is relating to.
