Not really traditional, the food was something you would expect down any old pub.

Sinclairs Oyster Bar – Manchester City CentreIm a frequent visitor to the Living Room. Good atmosphere, especially at wkend. Only downfall people seem to be a little bit pretentious because its a celebrity hangout but hey its the place to be seen, what else should i expect......
The Living Room – Manchester City Centrefabulous place!
Lead Station – ChorltonThis restaurant is a "class act". It takes the concept of the Indian buffet to a new level and is far better than the Rusholme equivalents. Serious money has been spent on the building and its furnishings. Nawaab is a place to go back - incredible value for a fixed £10 a head.
Royal Nawaab – LevenshulmeI took my girlfriend to the gaucho grill for her birthday after reading some of the reviews on this web page, we had a great night. Everything about the place was quality, especially the steaks, the best food i have ever had!! The deserts need a bit of attention, but that didnt take anything away from the evening! the wine is a little pricey but again with the recommendation from the waiter, that was superb!! For a special occassion, the gaucho grill would be my choice!
Gaucho – Manchester City CentreAmazing
San Marino – BoltonA great value meal and company
Rigbye Arms Country Inn and Bistro – WiganMe and my girlfriend frequently visit the bella vista as the food is exellent as is the atmosphere, linked with the beautiful views and the reasonable pricing, the bella Vista is an exellent place for all occassions!!. Only the service is a slight downfall, as sometimes you are left waiting, never for the food but for the clearing of finished meals. Overall i would highly recommend this place.
Bellavista – RochdaleLa Scala is an astounding restaurant, the staff and service you recieve is very good, and the food well enough said, this is a must to go restaurant, especially for the steak and vino 101%
La Scala – Westhoughtonthe food was very good and the service was excellent, we shall dine there again the girls looked after us very well
The Black Ladd – OldhamExcellent place to dine with children the set meals for children are great value. The children have a gift pack presented to them on entry to the restaurant.Overall good value for adults too,and a good atmosphere with the music in the background. The service was very good.
Frankie and Bennys – Trafford CentreI went there for dinner a few weeks ago after a number of people told me it is supposed to be the best chinese restaurant in the UK. I was a bit disappointed by the menu which seemed to be dominated by the European favourites but the quality of ingredients was excellent. The starters were fantastic and one has to look very hard to find any better. All the main courses I tried were good but I prefer the food at a couple of places in London. Probably not the best in UK, however, definitely worth the visit and overall reasonably priced.
Yang Sing – Manchester City CentreI took my girlfriend here for her birthday last week and its the best restaurant i have been to in Manchester, especially if you are a steak lover.
Gaucho – Manchester City Centrewe visited Koreana out of curiosity and were delighted with what we found. the waitress asked if we were first-timers and made some recommendations from the extensive menu. we had the banquet This is made up of a main course witha selection of weird and wonderful sides. The food was unusual and delicious and we will definately be returning.
Koreana – Manchester City CentreAttended the Italian Job on numerous occasions and food has always been highly satisfactory. At weekend upstaits they do a very reasonably priced fixed menu and a disco. Ideal for a birthday or other night out.
The Italian Job Restaurant – UrmstonI have regularly attended this restaurant for the past 5 years and have never once had a bad meal. The prices have steadily rose but when you consider that with every main course you get a salad at the beginning of the meal and an ice-cream (which is delicious) for dessert - really you are getting a 3-course meal for one price (roughly between £10-15). Plus the food really is delicious - I highly recommend the monkfish.
The Boathouse Restaurant – SaleIts the new clic on the bloc and well worth a punt, great food great atmosphere and reasonably priced.
Bluu – Northern QuarterFirst visit for 5 years and I can't imagine why we let that gap happen. The food was superb - top quality ingredients cooked to perfection. The service was very friendly and the price was much less than I anticipated.
