Shaygan Halal Takeaway – RusholmeA group of us ate here Wednesday tea time, and we were all impressed with the food. It was freshly cooked, the sauces that the food was in were excellent. They have a mid-week happy hour from 5pm -7pm where all Tapas are 2 for £5. This is good food for a good price, and I would highly recommend it.
La Torre – UrmstonInauspicious location and unassuming frontage but the food is of stellar quality. A world away from your average curry house - not greasy or oily and lots of unique and unusual dishes. Superb.
Coriander – ChorltonI had read some poor reviews for the Slug saying it was overpriced and that the food quality was poor. I went last night to watch the England game and pitchers of cocktails were cheap as you like before 8pm and sharer platters were also on offer. The food I had was great and the staff were very friendly.
The Slug and Lettuce – AltrinchamThe best service in Manchester. Great interior. Good sushi. Very nice place overall.
Sapporo Teppanyaki Manchester – Manchester City CentreWe've been to Ciao Napoli quite a few time for lunch, but this was the first time we've had an evening meal - it was as good as lunchtime. Great food & service the staff are very attentive, the background music - is just that in the background, you get the hustle & bustle from other diners but it's not intrusive. A great little Italian!!!!
Ciao Napoli – BoltonHad the most delicious meal at Teppanyaki. Would highly recommend the beef shashimi to start, so good. Prawn and monkfish cooked in front of us on the hotplate was fantastic, as was the steak with mushroom stuffing. We both agreed that it was the best japanese meal we'd ever tasted and will be going back as soon as possible.
Teppanyaki Chinatown – Manchester City CentreExcellent restaurant, amazing jazz piano bar, with brilliant mixed Mediterranean cuisine. We loved it!
San Marino – Boltonwe always go here on special occasions for two things a) the atmosphere and b) the food. the staff are helpful and friendly and the food is amazing. well worth a visit
Old Orleans – The PrintworksMy husband and I have a takeaway from the Dilshad once a week and I must say that the standard is always exceptional. The staff are really friendly both on the telephone and even open the doors when you leave. Wouldn't even try another Indian!!!
Dilshad Tandoori – MostonHay mummy!! This is stefanos! Thought i would add my own little recommendation! i love greek food!! and i love you! love your baby boy stefanos xx
Kosmos Taverna – FallowfieldBright and modern looking interior with a spacious feeling to the restaurant. The food on the English menu is pretty much what you'd expect in Chinatown but the portions were large, well presented and very tasty - we couldn't fault the meal at all. The restaurant was busy with people from the Chinese community and seems to be popular with the young. One thing I'd love to see in all Chinese restaurants is maybe some of the dishes that are on the Chinese menu in English - too often you are sat there and you think that looks nice that those people are eating. Overall a two course meal for two, two bottles of wine, coffee and brandy for less than £60 and no service on top. We'll be going back.
Fus Chinese Restaurant Cafe – Manchester City CentreThis is the best Chinese restaurant and take away in the local area. Service is excellent and the food is absolutely delicious - I would recommend this to anyone.
Chung Ying – SalfordThis is the best restaurant in Manchester ! Forget the city centre get yourself down to Jem & I. Every time I?e eaten their with my wife and parents the food has been spot on, the service is fantastic too, very attentive but not obtrusive. The wine list is great, with some brilliant value wines and some really snazzy ones too. A great location, Go and have a fantastic meal in Jem's then a bit of live music in pitcher n piano... I want to live in Didsbury !
Jem and I Bar and Grill – DidsburyExcellent for night out with family or friends. Staff very entertaining. Lovely food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend although would advise to book!
Bellini’s – CheadleI visited with my girlfriend on a Friday evening during a weekend in Manchester. The food and the atmosphere was just perfect....as much in we returned on the Saturday evening to dine again!! The menu is very easy to understand not like your typical Chinese, the prices are reasonable and the service prompt and friendly. Anyone planning a visit must try the Scallops they are pricey at £3.00 each but absolutely delicious and simply melt in your mouth. The dim sums we tried were fabulous and the Fillet steak Cantonese style was perfect. The best Chinese in Manchester by far and we will most definitely visit again!!
Pacific – Manchester City CentreFabulous place!! Will be a regular
Greens – DidsburyJust cannot fault this place, a top, top recommendation, try a pint of draught leffe in the lass o Gowrie (just opposite) as an aperitif. EastzEast is now easily the best Indian in Manchester, the food from a varied menu is both superb and plentiful. Without doubt the best in Manchester at the moment.
