The overall balance of this place is spot on, food, ambience and price. Feels like being in real Spain. The house red wine is always good value. The Tapas menu for 10 persons plus is an excellent sampler. Ivan Campo the BWFC Spanish footballer has been seen and if a Spanish team is in town their fans find their way there. Used by the 'locals' when they are abroad!!!

Just been to Barburrito in Piccadilly Gardens... thought the food was excellent and the place is cool. Had a shredded beef burrito with the extra hot salsa. Very tasty and cost me less than a fiver with a soft drink. Definitely worth a visit if you want a quick bite to eat on the way back to the train station.

I highly recommend Barburrito's. The food was fantastic. Top quality ingredients all freshly cooked. fast efficient service with a real friendly atmosphere and all for a song. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Manchester & take my friends too.

Have to agree with all below - I spent the weekend in Manchester and can't believe this chain (is it a chain?) hasn't opened in London yet - proper Mexican, fresh ingredients, excellent place - almost worth the trip on its own!

My boyfriend took me here for a birthday meal and I definitely wasn? disappointed with his choice! The restaurant looks amazing, as does the bar. The squid starter was the best thing I've ever tasted. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We went to the Rice Bowl as could not face the walk into Chinatown from the city centre and was very happy we did not bother. Going early meant we were able to chose from the Pre Fix menu, which was £9.50 for two courses. The service was excellent and very attentive and we were surprised that we were not on our own at 5.15pm. The hot and sour soup was just that! And the chicken with asparagus and cashews was fantastic and the sliced beef in Peking sauce was lovely and sticky! All washed down with free refills of Chinese tea. We had a lovely night out and we will certainly recommending The Rice Bowl to our friends who live in Manchester and going there again when we can.

Having just finished shopping in the Trafford centre for hours with my partner, we wanted something to eat and came across the brassiere at John Lewis. At first I wasn? going to bother but im very glad I did. The menu was simple with hot sandwiches and even a large range of main courses. They even had a wine list, so we sat down and was served be a lovely blond haired girl who was only to pleased to take our order. Myself ordered the slow cooked beef with a side order of rocket salad; my partner chose the pork, which he ordered medium. To my delight we had champagne, which was very under priced at £30 for Veuve. The food arrived after about 15mins and tasted great! I was shocked to say the least as this was a brassiere in a department store. But it was super the foodservice and even the window tables. Please go and see what you are missing as you wont be disappointed Susan

Gaucho Grill had been recommended by a friend and lived up to all expectations. Food was excellent, steak was cooked to perfection. Staff were very pleasant and courteous, allowed plenty of time between courses so was no feeling of being rushed. The only criticism is that there is no designated smoking area. One couple on the next table started smoking and it affected several tables nearby. with the prices of the food here, and the excellent quality the last thing you need is your meal being ruined like that.

Went to the Happy Seasons for my birthday, me and the girlfriend have been many times before and the fact that probably buffet type restaurants are cheaper than this place should not put anyone off in going to the Happy Seasons. We?e been to some off the more expensive restaurants in Chinatown and come away a little disappointed - not here though. Overall excellent value for money - oh yeah try the won ton soup and battered King prawns :)

My family has been visiting this Indian for the past couple of years Talif the owner is always friendly and pleased to meet everyone. The staff are pleasant and speak very good English. The food is excellent with a wide range of choice but not at rip off prices. I would strongly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.......try the Tayef kebab or the Tandoori trout as a starter but be warned they are only for the very hungry!. We have eaten Indian food in many many places but the Buraq is up there with the best. 10/10 all round for me

I was introduced to The Aladdin by my parents about 10 years ago, and have been going back a few times a year ever since. The food is ALWAYS brilliant, the BYO policy means it's great value, the service is second to none and it's just generally a great place for an informal evening with friends. Particular favourites are the Ejeh, mixed kebabs, tabouleh and shaworma, but everything is fantastic. My favourite restaurant in Manchester by a fair way.

I love Mexican food and I was expecting to be disappointed, how wrong... from first seeing the front of the of restaurant, I could tell this was going to be the real deal - no cheesy clichés and not a Mexican hat in sight - high quality fresh honest tasty food, very high standard of detail and finishing both inside and out, I had a beef burrito with all the trimmings. I thought the drinks were pricey but then it was an ?nnocent smoothy?rather than a cheap can of pop. What can I say, I expect Barburrito will be across the uk within 5 years - I wonder if they sell shares! Little Mexico has arrived in Manchester, yum yum.

Just visited Barburrito for the first time based on a reader recommendation on Sugarvine. I had a chargrilled steak burrito, with a mild tomato salsa and guacamole. All made fresh in front of me. Food fit for a lord ! Also anyone out there visiting - try the coffee !!

This is the fifth time we have eaten at the Nawab, and every time the food is of fantastic quality. Without doubt I would recommend a night at the Nawab for a first class Indian meal of very high standards

SPECIAL !!!!!!!!!!!! Simple Food, Great Ingredients, Freshly Cooked and very affordable. Reminds me of when I used to live in California (I suspect Manchester being compared to California may be a first)

A refreshing change from the usual lunchtime sarnie. The burritos are generous in size and the fillings, chosen to your own preference, are both fresh and appetizing! Definitely recommend a look but be careful not to get addicted...I? on my third meal there this week!!

I tried eating at Barburrito just before Christmas after it was described as being the best place to have a light lunch or evening meal in Manchester. A lofty claim!! But one that after numerous visits to the place is entirely justified. Barburrito is a Mexican grill, with a very simple menu of burritos, tacos and quesadillas. All of the food tasted so fresh, and having spent a large amount of time in South American captures the essence of Mexican fast food, The flavours are great, the place looks stunning yet unpretentious and the price is amazing. Grilled chicken burrito, large coke and nachos for £4.50. This restaurant deserves some serious commendation and is a great addition to the Manchester food and drink scene.
