TGI Fridays – EdinburghI have been eating out in Glasgow for almost 25 years and the only place for me will always be a little known restaurant called the "Neelim" on Dumbarton Road in Scotstoun. The food is fresh, authentic and fantastic. The ambience is spot on and the service is second to none. The staff there will always ensure a good service, particularly Foji, and the food is always of the highest quality. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant and suggest if you want good, modestly priced Indian food, the Neelim is where to go!
Neelim Indian Cuisine – GlasgowThis may sound like a cliche but the meal I had at Dusit surpassed every other Thai meal I have had (and I have been to Thailand!). To start I had the satay chicken skewers which were nice but the absolute clincher was my main course. It was a seafood dish (unfortunately I can't remember the name) which had jumbo king prawns, scallops and pieces of monkfish in a delicious sauce that was a bit sweet and a bit sour. Divine!
Dusit – Edinburghl have been eating Indian food since l was 10, I? now 32. This is by far the best curry l have experienced to date. Above average decor, however, outstanding food!!!!!
Red Fort – GlasgowI stayed in Glasgow working for around 3-4 months and during my stay it was by far the best place i found to dine in Sauchiehall Street. Excellent.
Chukoku – GlasgowPossibly the best meal I have ever had. The menu was so extensive I had trouble choosing!! A whole new world of vegetarian food has opened up!!
David Bann – EdinburghWhat a place, centre of Edinburgh... just off the pricey George Street!! This place has the atmosphere that dreams are made of...made a night of it, had some food and crawled out at 3am....now it happens at least once a month! Damn bartenders, there too good at their job!
Garibaldis – EdinburghWhat a fantastic meal! Definitely recommend it to anyone. The food was great and the staff are really friendly Give it a try!
Greek Golden Kebab – Glasgowgreat food, great service- its definitely the best place in east kilbride / Glasgow south area
Minar Tandoori Restaurant – GlasgowThe Stravaigin is a fab restaurant. I have eaten upstairs and down, but particularly like the area upstairs from the bar. A bit more relaxed but still serves the same delicious food. Great atmosphere, always buzzing with chat, staff really friendly, helpful, give you plenty of time to decide, not too expensive, serving size ideal.....overall a great place for a relaxed but superb meal.
Stravaigin – Glasgownice place used to be the Moti Mahal many years ago staff were much more approachable then , the food delicious but take out portions aren? good and staff are a little snooty
Alishan Tandoori – Glasgownice decor and a well laid out buffet though the choice wasnt as big as i remembered it, staff need to take a step back though, I had just put my fork down and my plate was whisked away I seen this happen to a few folk. overall nice place good food but a little pricey and over keen staff
India Palms – GlasgowMUCH better than the china buffet king! Food was nicer, service was better, place was cleaner - BRILLIANT!!!!!!
Chukoku – GlasgowBeing a regular, the Waga staff team are very friendly and welcoming. It feels a bit like a second home. I'm addicted to the Edamame and withdrawal symptoms have been known! It's an easy place to go if wanting to eat on your own too and read a book, with a trestle out the way of the busier aisles. It used to feel like a rather rushed meal due to their specific way of dishing up i.e. no starters but instead side dishes. This is overcome by ordering your side the minute you are seated with your drink then taking time to linger over the menu. I advise to go a few times to really appreciate the place.
Wagamama – GlasgowThe food was delicious and very fresh. I would go there again for business .
The Golden Dragon – EdinburghExcellent food, first class service from friendly staff. I would thoroughly recommend this place
Minar Tandoori Restaurant – Glasgowextremely good food at very reasonable prices, a very romantic place to dine, one of my favourite restaurants, and the cameo bar is a great place to finish off the evening.
La Camargue and Cameo Bar – Edinburghdelicious meals served in very authentic surroundings. family-run with the emphasis on making you welcome. A wide variety of dishes,
Greek Golden Kebab – Glasgow2 courses for £16. Available Monday to Friday until 7pm.
