The Carriage – CrawleyThe food and service was excellent. Warmer weather for outside dining would be welcome but the provision of overhead heaters and blankets made our evening great. Friendly and Capable staff added to our fun evening. The Prawn starter was absolutely amazing. The Steak was cooked exactly as I requested it and the quality was superb. Thank you.
The Carriage – CrawleyFantastic meal, great service and lovely atmosphere .
The Carriage – CrawleyGreat food, great service, lovely people and great atmosphere.
The Carriage – CrawleyAlways my go-to restaurant for date night as the staff are so sweet and hospitable! The prices are reasonable and the food is extremely delicious every time.
Galileo Pizzeria – Brighton and HoveHi. I have been to Antonio's restaurant with my friend and I think is better restaurant then most in Worthing. The place is nice and relaxed with nice music and lively pictures on the wall. It reminds me places in Italy. The staff is very lovely and helpful. The food is so delicious I would be there every day. Once a week is enough for me. You will find there lots of different age groups. From young people just over 20 to family with small kids, bigger kids, teeneagers to older generation. I love this restaurant and everything they offer. The price is cheaper than any other restaurant I have been to.
Antonios Restaurant – WorthingI visited this café/restaurant with y father yesterday, it was his birthday and I wanted to give him a treat-given the reviews you have I thought this would be a nice lunchtime experience. I am vegan and called in advance to make sure I would be catered for and was told that the menu could be adapted. When I arrived the lady at the counter said 'I don't know-I will have to ask the chef' and came back saying I could have bean or vege burger, none of which I like very much but accepted that-my dad had sausages, he eats meat and there were several things he could have had. He said the sausages were good but he had no vegetables with them and the mash. My lunch however was awful, the bean burger had been deep fried and was as hard as rock, and tasteless accompanied by a mound of frozen chips which I did not eat rather expensive at over £10.This is 2017, the number of people who are vegan is now in the 10s of thousands and on the increase with the awareness of the cruelty of the meat and diary trade being made known. If you do not want vegans in your restaurant, please, do not tell them they will be catered for when they are clearly fobbed off with unhealthy and unpleasant food.I have considered my Dads response to your food in my response below
The Hummingbird Restaurant – Shoreham20th of feb 2016. Rushed into the nearest chippie to get out of the cold. Wished I hadn't visited this one and walked further on to the Blue Dolphin. It was cheap enough but what a gloomy place, watery tasteless fish, watery ketchup ... Never again.
Ocean Catch – HastingsAwful. We live on a main road and had to stand outside, jumping and waving like lunatics but the driver still drove past us three times. He had no idea. I called to complain and the woman didn't care - 'Try ringing him and directing him.' I said that's what we've been doing for 10 minutes! She said there was nothing she could do and didn't agree to a discount. Inevitably our food was luke warm.
New Dragon Chinese TakeAway – CrawleyIs good
The Emperor Chinese Restaurant – Burgess HillWe used to come in the pub 2 years ago when we stayed in St Leonards. But now we heard its new management and it's much better now we are tempted to come and try some ale. How much are your rooms now to stay in bed and breakfast. Thanks
The Welcome Stranger – St. Leonards-On-SeaFabulous authentic cuisine, very attentive service, I would definitely recommend a visit
Little India – HenfieldAwful service,.the price reflects bad bland food. Staff barely understand English. Won't be returning.
Elmer Tandoori – Bognor RegisI really did enjoy going into the Golden Dragon with my snooker team at end of the season meal and the food was very tasty. I would recommend going again.
Golden Dragon Restaurant – EastbourneThis is an absolutely brilliant restaurant which should be visited by all lovers of seafood. Cooked by an Italian chef who is passionate about his profession.
Sapore Di Mare – WorthingWent for a cup of tea and cake with my husband today(18/07/15) and it was a delightful experience, delicious homemade carrot cake and very tasty spinach and mozarella twist. Friendly staff made it even nicer...top marks.
Davinci Food for You – Brighton and HoveIt was the hottest day of the year so far and I'd forgotten to take my lunch to work. Its my last £2.00 so I think, its Friday, I'll treat myself to some chips. As I'm ordering, the oriental lady looks at me and says "Swarfega", "pardon" I say. "Swarfega" she says again. After a long silence I realise that she is asking me if I would like 'Salt and Vinegar' on my chips. "oh" I say, "yes please". As I look down counting my money, she places the paper wrapper on the counter. "Did you put salt and vinegar on them" I ask She looks at me then gives a gentle nod as if to say 'I can't remember'. I walk to the park and sit down with anticipation for my Friday treat. As I unwrap my lunch, I am greeted with what can only be described as 'a graveyard of wet beige slugs', no salt, no vinegar. I cautiously prod the first slug with my wooden chip fork, and the wetness breaks it in half. I gently pop it into my mouth, half grimacing as I do. It slides down effortlessly from all the oil, like a lubed up oyster. Determined, I plough on even though i feel my face turning green. A few minutes later, my work colleague turns up with a sandwich. "Try one of these" I say. He looks at it worryingly, puts it in his mouth and looks at me, "Hmm, different" he says. I swear that if he closed his eyes before trying it, his reaction would have been "What is it"? As I get to around the last 20 or so chips, an amazing thing happens. I'm suddenly whisked away to to late 1970's early 1980's as the vague aroma of 'Windolene' spreads through my nostrils. I look around to see where it is before coming to the conclusion that it is in fact, my £1.70 lunch. This, is where i decided to call it a day and admitted defeat against the defiant army of beige slugs. it's times like this that you wish you could try before you buy. This was on Friday 12th June 2015. It's now Monday 15th June and I am still suffering from a recently diagnosed medical condition known as 'Slug Bowel' These are almost worth trying for the experience. Weird, different, I'd almost even use the word 'awesome'.........but for all the wrong reasons! Taylors is the 'Argos' of chip shops, where you are not allowed to see the goods until you get home, put it down before opening the packaging in excitement and then thinking.................'well it's not what I was expecting'
Taylors Fish Bar – East GrinsteadIt is so awesome! I take my brother Luddy for his birthday! I'm taking my girlfriend Eliza for a first date! You can see it being cooked and I recommended it for my friends Antonio and Francis and if I could I would take my pet bird!
