Imperial Chef – St. Leonards-On-Seai love malaysia satay and char kuey teow
Yous Chinese Restaurant – St. Leonards-On-SeaThis is a great location right on the southern slopes of Highdown Hill just outside Worthing and was, originally, a large square assembly of farm buildings. I said to my wife on several occasions in the past that this would make an excellent site for a Restaurant. Sure enough Vintage Inns (I believe) who are the current owners bought it and converted the site. Credit where credit where credit is due, they did an excellent job and even now, allowing for wear and tear, both the building and the atmosphere is excellent. However, I will not be going back for some time. After a break of some time we returned last week and were again disappointed. Quite simply this is a great opportunity thrown away. The food if the first problem and would describe it simply as "fodder" The menus deteriorated and were simplified rapidly from its opening. The second issue is that the service is diabolical because they are so understaffed. Don't get me wrong, the staff themselves (the few that exist) are excellent, very friendly and truly seem to try hard. There is no surly attitude or anything to offend a customer but they are understaffed. I am led to believe the manager is also of the same nature and was struck by the respect that the staff seemed to show for their efforts. It's the simple fact that there are not enough people to serve. To sum up. For a cold night by a fire or for a summer evening, if you have the time, then go and have a drink otherwise there are plenty of better places around to eat at. Bad Bunny
Swallows Return – Worthingvery good food, friendly staffs. Highly recommended for someone who looking for an authentic Indian
Kemp Spices – Brighton and HoveGreat food in a fantastic country setting overlooking the Downs. I had mussels in cider sauce, and Fillet of Sea Bass with stir-fried veg, washed down with a decent Chilean Pinot Noir, and then I saved room for the plum and pomegranate molasses crumble- yummy.

De La Warr Pavilion – BexhillDined there on 29/12/2009. Excellent meal, attentive waiters, good service everything required for a good restaurant, very reasonably priced. It was our 2nd visit & it was just as memorable as the 1st time.
Galileo Pizzeria – Brighton and HoveOne of the best Curry house's in Worthing. Fantastic food, cold beer and great value for money.
Mulakat – WorthingWe moved to St Leonards in 2008 and dined in Fortes on our first night in town. It was, and remains, one of the best (if not THE best) pizza restaurants I/we have ever eaten in. The staff and wonderfully friendly and the pizzas utterly delicious. To quote my boyfriend: "the best combo of taste, value and service in the world".
Fortes Pizzeria – St. Leonards-On-Seawhat a brilliant restaurant, food is excellent, great menu choice loads of exciting dishes. Staff all very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive.
Eastern Promise – HailshamExcellent menu, good food, well presented and very friendly service. Thoroughly recommended and looking forward to eating there again. Check out the specials
Flamenco Tapas Restaurant – EastbourneI was not overly impressed here. Have been many times to The wild mushroom (sister restaurant) which is great. My husband really wanted to go but the reception was not friendly, the service was not a patch on the wild mushroom. Overall would not bother to return, real shame
Webbes at The Fish Cafe – BattleWhat a stunning little gem, tucked away a few miles of the main A27 near Arundel. 300 year old venue thats as snug and friendly as you need it to be in this current miserable weather, but serving up some delicious, home cooked contemporary food. They have 1 Rosette and are working towards their second. Couldn't fault the food or service and the hosts are wonderful. A must see!
