A really friendly atmosphere and helpful owners and staff. Varied menu but have to specially recommend lasagne and tiramisu! Children and babies are welcomed and that can't be said of every establishment!

Fortes Pizzeria – St. Leonards-On-SeaThe most vibrant, electric atmosphere; superb staff, happy and helpful, the food is absolutely 'off this planet' and Giampiero the Chef is the best in the Italian world. No superlatives can do justice to this wonderful restaurant, and anyone who doesn't visit it, will never know what they missed. Long may Mo Mambo survive and thrive!
Mo Mambo – Eastbournefelt like i was in india , best in town
Shiplu Tandoori Restaurant – St. Leonards-On-SeaNice food, good service, very reasonably priced, recommend it for a family night out, fairly noisy, good atmosphere. Martin R

Hampden Arms – NewhavenAbsolutely the best place in town serves fantastic meals at low prices.Had my husbands 30th birthday here and used the party menu of £11 per head-there was far too much food which a few asked to be put in containers to take home.Lovely staff and atmosphere, nothing is too much trouble -cant rate the place enough !
August Moon – HastingsRUBBISH PLACE . THE FOOD IS NOT ITALIAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mo Mambo – EastbourneHaving eaten at The Priory Carvery for many years I, like most of my friends, were saddened to hear that that horrid Chef Mr Ramsay had been in and muddled around with things. HOWEVER, much to my pleasure I have since learned that THE CARVERY HAS RETURNED. I have been back to the restaurant many times last year since the carvery has been reinstated and all I can say is LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY. The selection of meat available is wide and cooked perfectly. The vegetables fresh and hot and with a good selection of starters and desserts available you can't help but have a good meal. WELL DONE to all there, lets hope, like me and my family have, your old trusted customers return back "to the fold"
The Priory Bar and Grill – Haywards Heathvisited at lunchtime in the summer 2008 for a sandwich, lovely grainy bread but on the dry side so a disappointing BLT.
The Juggs – LewesExcellent evening food cooked well and beautifully presented.
Golden Palace Restaurant – Seafordits great i love it there nothing can or could ever be better they can not improve anything there it is just so great i simply love it there i come to luna (worthing) quite often and i cant possibly say any more about it than i love it the truth ever re and it is the best restaurant ever (i like it even more than mac'donolds) and that has nice food in it so, you can see just how much i like it there its just so brilliant if there was a score out of ten that you were doing i would definitely give you lot ten out of ten even one hundred out of one hundred so i love the food its very filling but its just so great there and its also so peaceful and you can just sit back relax eat your dinner and its just wonderful there. its the best restaurant ever
Luna Italian Restaurant – WorthingSome what disappointing, staff appeared to be over tired (but where not rude), and seamed to not observed table or wine etiquette. Food was quite wet and the sauces seamed separated in some way, suspect there may have been lot of pre-prepared effort that was finished off “on order”. The experience was over lunch and mid week and perhaps we caught them at a bad time. I feel sure it must improve at night and I perhaps I should re-try it then. Azure is set in an excellent dining room that allows you to observe the “Sussex Rivera” Sunset, that sets over the Royal Sovereign Scholls setting five miles off Beachy Head. However because the room is square and there is little décor sound travels a bit too well when the room is not full, Some large plants or large ornaments placed in the room would help to absorb the sound when the room is not too populated. Great potential and I notice there a lobster tank where you can choose your own lobster you wish to eat. However lobster was not on the lunch time menu and I might have taken home rather then eaten it there.
Azur at The Marina Pavilion – St. Leonards-On-SeaA friendly place with a Rock theme and live bands playing on the weekend and bank holidays, The music theme continues with jam session on a Thursday night for all (beginners to expert) and all styles. There is also a motor bike ride out on a Wednesday in the spring, summer and autumn. The pub has a genuine Harley Davidson bolted to the wall on the stage and a large walled garden with seating so you can drink out side, friendly natives that are well humoured and easy to get on with. The pub also run a pub quiz every second Sunday and has its own mini magazine. The bar is literally across the road from the beach and the only free beach parking in St Lenard’s on sea.
The Marina Fountain – St. Leonards-On-SeaThis is a continual favourite because it fits the bill on so many occasions. It is a great pub when the weather is good because the kids can play in the fantastic dedicated area, and there is always plenty of seating. Inside it is cosy and perfect for grown up evenings. The food is centered on the pizzas which are honestly the best I have tried outside of Italy, but they also have a range of other good dishes - my hubby's being the rack of ribs in BBQ sauce. The staff are friendly, and more importantly efficient. Good range of drinks and wine lists. The constant buzz in The Bull no matter the month of year, day of week or the time of day is testimony to its quality and consistency.
The Bull Inn – HenfieldThis place has so much to offer with the historic building and the beer garden but is sadly going from bad to worse. They announced that they were cutting their prices as a contribution to addressing the credit crunch, but unfortunately the quality of the food and the size of the portions has plummeted faster than the stock market. Our lasagne was so dried out it only filled 2/3 of the dish, which was already what I would consider a 'small appetite' size. The roast turkey was out of a packet rather than an oven and my roast dinner was reminiscent of the worst of the offerings from a pub chain.... sorry, it was worse... I kid you not, there was ONE brussel sprout and the carrots had been round the block a few times. The service was slow and half-baked. This used to be a fine pub-restaurant but urgently requires an injection of quality and care..... do go there to enjoy the environs but you certainly will not enjoy the food! BEST AVOIDED!
