Zizzi – EastbourneIdeal quick stop food if your being dragged round the shops by your girlfriend and need a break, meal deal was good value and would recommend the lunchtime eat as much as you can for a fixed price mind you the fatties do turn up then so arrive early
Pizza Hut (UK) – WorthingHad a takeaway from this restaurant a few months ago. It was quite pricey, but the food was very tasty and the portions generous (we barely scratched the surface). Different choices from your average curry house fare, as it has dishes from Mongolia etc...I would recommend it if you love curry's but are tired of your usual orders.
Gurkha Chef – St. Leonards-On-SeaThis is the best Mexican Restaurant with what I feel nearest to the REAL MEXICAN FOOD you can get. My best friend owned one of the most authentic Mexican Restaurants in Byron Bay Australia. They had the best TAQUITOS ever tasted made with stewed beef. Tex Mex Worthing, was the first Mexican Restaurant I have eaten in since leaving Byron Bay now living in Puerto Pollensa Mallorca regards not only their TAQUITOS, but the Nachos and all the food we ate. I congratulate you, not everyone knows how a REAL TAQUITO should be made!!!! The Atmosphere was vibrant, decor gutsy Mexican style the way it should be. Sadly, came back to Worthing some months ago, could not wait to sample and return for my Taquitos, I arrived on a Monday, only there for one day and night business trip, SADLY and my BAD LUCK you were closed Mondays. We went to a nearby other Mexican Restaurant, glad to tell you, you dont have any competition, they dont know how to tacos and did not even have Taquitos on the menu! I wish I could get the recipe from you of the Taquitos so I can enjoy them here in Puerto Pollensa Mallorca. Your the best!! dont change the style or food you serve. Jenny Douglas Puerto Pollensa Mallorca.
Montagues Tex Mex Restaurant – WorthingThe restaurant has a very nice modern look with really friendly helpful staff. The food and service just fantastic. Recommend anyone to try the sizzling tandoori mix grill.
Ganges Restaurant – LewesGreat service. The staff were just perfect, very helpful and obliging. They treated all the customers with great respect. I was over from Ireland to stay with my sister and she said she'll definitely go back to the New Moon.. Thankyou to all the people there who work very hard to please the likes of me!
New Moon – PulboroughA party of seven booked in for Sunday lunch at what in the past was a busy establishment. Today it was almost empty, the carvery was like a school dinner, meat cheap and heated under lamps for who knows how long, vegetables consisted of peas, carrots, shredded parsnips and cabbage. Worst of all the service was appalling. Every served course had to be ordered and requested.
The Priory Bar and Grill – Haywards HeathThe restaurant was buzzing even at 6pm when we arrived for the earlybird special 2 course deal - lovely staff, a good selection to choose from and swift service. Great atmosphere. We'll come back!
Casa Ciro – WorthingI am amazed that nobody has written about this place. I used to 'water there' over 30 years ago when Gordon and Pearl 'reigned' The beer was warm, straight out of wooden barrels behind the bar and Smith's Crisps were the "Dish of the Day" The atmosphere was unbelievable. It was a meeting place for FRIENDS.We shared our feelings and enjoyed life!
Boars Head Inn – CrowboroughTasty fresh food, friendly service, definitely the only place to eat Bexhill
Oasis Coffee Shop – BexhillA FANTASTIC FRIENDLY GREETING A PROPER PUB WITH GREAT ENGLISH FOOD LARGE MEALS BUT GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY SMALLER MEALS AVAILABLE GREAT MENU RANGE LARGE FAMILY GARDEN WITH PLAY EQUIPMENT SMOKING AREA LARGE CAR PARK AND DOUBLE AWARD WINNING CHARITY PUB WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT!
The Dog and Duck Inn – HorshamTIM FAI IS THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN IN HASSOCKS, ONLY A SHORT WALK FOR US,WELL DONE SUE
Tim Fai Restaurant – Hassocksfor the cost of the food me and my wife were very excited about it but the service was appalling and the owner was very rude the quality of the food was appalling and out of a rating out of 10 i would give it 1
Shanum Tandoori – Hassockswe found traces of cat food in are dinner and we were appalled by this and shall never return also may i add that my son had food poisoning
Little India – HenfieldCosy, family type pub, I went there but doors were locked so I decided to move on but in about 10 seconds someone looked out of the window opened the door and told me you does not look like a drunk football fan, come in and welcome :))) Interior is traditional they have a good beer and serve it with care. In the evening there was amazing jig event, probably the best ever jig I ever heard. Well what to say more than I stayed there longer then expected and I missed my last train back to London but who cares...I spent a night at the Beach
The Bugle Inn – Brighton and HoveI eat here regularly as it is my local pub. I have always enjoyed the food here and the atmosphere, especially in the bar, is great.
The Chequers Inn – BattleHaving dined here several times with parties of 2 to 22 I have booked the downstairs again for my works Christmas do, simple reason being I am still dreaming about the food I eat in Graze a week later it's that good. I work and dine out in London frequently and Graze knocks some very highly rated restaurants into a cocked hat, exquisite portions of highly flavoured and expertly prepared dishes that vary greatly and are served with aplomb and a smile. My recommendation is eat there regularly to fully appreciate the dishes and service.
Graze Restaurant – Brighton and HoveShame ...reduced the food, changed the menu. Sorry back to Laythams. Don't mend what's not broke.!
