Lovely meal with good quality ingredients and great friendly service

We enjoyed our evening at Ancient Grains: an interesting and unusual menu, well cooked food and great service. I also appreciated that they accommodated my pre-order and dietary request.

A friendly and welcoming venue. Staff were very attentive and efficient. Great to have a choice of such fresh Seafood. A good selection on the menu and liked the idea of the sharing plates and smaller portions. Good to see a restaurant that hasn't been tempted to overstretch itself in the number of customers by extending the premises...yet. So it copes really well and is obviously very popular.

Absolutely perfect dining for our table of five- Delicious Dover Sole and the best dressed crab. Thank you again to the excellent team. Of course, we will return as often as possible!

A wonderful meal once again - Best mussels for miles - large tasty and properly made! Battered code for me this time - wonderfully light batter and finished off with an Eton mess! Great meal Thank you.

I had the roast pork on sunday great meal. Not too much on the veg plate some mash would have been good Too many roast however lovely I love the trimming with the pork especially the crackling

As usual our meal was excellent! We were a table of 4 and had 2 lobster,1 crab and the lobster/burger surf n turf. The fish was fresh and tasty and as always beautifully prepared. This is our favourite restaurant and it’s not hard to see why! The staff are friendly and efficient , giving service with a smile. I would not hesitate to recommend Into the Blue to anyone.

Booked lunch and a lovely meal. Best ever omelette with button mushrooms. The cappuccino had a great flavour and their lemon tart was fab. A real pleasure.

What a find! We loved the quirky interiors with all the memorabilia. Usually these types of places feel musty and dusty but this was impeccably clean and beautifully presented. Liked all the nooks and crannies which meant you could have a quiet lunch for 2 without people right next to you. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was very good too. We noticed the pizza oven on our way out which explains why the focaccia bread was so fresh and delicious. Thank you, we will return and would reccomend.

Been a couple of times for the evening dinner but this was our first time for lunch. Yet again excellent food, service and wine. Never had a bad experience here and recommend it wholeheartedly.

A visit is an event that never fails to exite, this is a true gem. Food is exceptional. Value for money, a convivial atmosphere, friendly helpful staff. My next visit can't come soon enough!
