Very warm and helpful welcome. Prompt service, decent selection of beer including several local breweries plus a wide choice of delicious food on the menu. Good value too. We are about an hour away from Rye but we always go to The Globe when we visit as it's so good.

The service was friendly and atmosphere was good. Would visit again if in Rye . Its a short walk out of the main town

Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaWhat a great place! The menu was reassuringly short but varied, the portions generous and the food very tasty, fresh and authentic. The red and white house wines were also excellent. Nothing fussy or pretentious, the owners have just got it right!

They were barely showing the fryer even once, I’ve never seen such insipid chips in all my life. This meant that they were soggy and greasy. It’s such a shame as they could’ve been lovely. My friends had the lamb which did look lovely and my husband’s steak was also very good but again he said the chips were soggy and pale
