Fantastic food and service just like the last few times I have been here….

We had lunch with you on Thursday and enjoyed it very much. The staff were very polite and friendly. A good menu to please all tastes.

We had the set menu at lunch. A good choice of excellent food and very good value for money. My only criticism was that the "chocolate pot " was enormous!

Another really lovely meal at The Pheasant - attentive service, terrific wine and cocktail list, and a varied, seasonal and quality menu. A lovely birthday celebration. Here’s to many more.

First time, great food, we will be back

Six of us met at The Pheasant for lunch on Saturday. We were a little bit early so enjoyed a cup of coffee by the fire when we arrived. We all thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, everything was delicious. The staff were charming and helpful. Happy Christmas to you all.

A group of 8 of us went for our Christmas lunch and get together and once again the pheasant did not disappoint us. The Sunday Lunch menu at £26 for three courses is excellent value and the choice was extensive. The food was delicious, well cooked and well presented. I had Scallops which had a small supplement charge but were some of the best I have ever eaten. The staff were very professional and nothing was to much bother. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a good value meal and drinks selection.

Celebrated our 20th anniversary here on Wednesday and had a lovely evening. Arrival drinks by the fire, a fantastic menu my wife and I were genuinely spoilt for choice on, a great selection of wines and really good service that was the right level of attentiveness. The food itself did not disappoint and the restaurant had a lovely vibe that still allowed for conversation. We’ve been here several times under previous ownership and we’re so pleased when we knew the new owners had such a great track record. We will keep coming back and recommend others do to!

Great food, service ok but not much atmosphere

Wonderful to be back! We would dine here for special occasions pre-C19 and were so happy to see it had reopened! Better still, it is under the ownership of a lovely couple who have retained the high quality of food, atmosphere and service!

We took my Father to The Pheasant as a birthday celebration and we had a wonderful meal. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and professional. We will definately return.
