The Bristol Trader – HaverfordwestFab food, service, atmosphere. recommend the garlic bread. Best to book for the weekend as it is very busy. Love the place.
Merolas – CardiffRelaxed, contemporary, smart and sophisticated and that? just the staff honestly this restaurant ticks all boxes at last South Wales has a restaurant to be proud of, who needs London anyway?
Coast Restaurant – PorthcawlProper, local food cooked properly and an enjoyable meal. Landlady believes in using local ingredients wherever possible and this specifically means chicken that has not travelled the world and been frozen/chilled/bleached/injected with antibiotics and beef remnants. Highlight.
White Mill Inn – CarmarthenWe stayed there just days after Christmas for my wife? birthday and ate in the restaurant. We found all three courses were beautifully prepared and the service was warm and friendly. Certainly no Christmas hangovers for the staff of this restaurant. Thank you.
Bagle Brook Beefeater Restaurant and Bar – Port Talbotwell worth the visit, food takes its time but all cooked to order and the freshest i have ever tasted
La Trattoria – PontyclunA nice little pub that has retained the feeling of being a nice little local. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals (which were very well cooked), however, I would disagree with previous points about the variety of dishes on the menu. Although what they do they do very well, a few more vegetarian choices (and more original ones at that) would add to the Buck Inn's appeal. A wider choice of ales might be beneficial too. But don't be put off, it's well worth a visit.
Buck Inn, The – SwanseaWe visited the Chelsea Cafe for a birthday lunch. From the outside to the inside this small but perfectly formed restaurant was lovely. Even though it was very busy (it was a few days before Xmas and there were a few work's parties) the service was second to none. The set lunch menu was excellent and very reasonable and I can highly recommend the Belgian chocolate torte for dessert. This restaurant is a gem.
Hanson at the Chelsea Restaurant – SwanseaY Polyn is a unique building formerly a toll gate located on the junction of two country roads in the County of Carmarthenshire West Wales. It may look like an ordinary average isolated rural pub from the outside, but experienced chefs Maryann Wright and Susan Manson have made Y Polyn far from average. Together they cook simple food like rabbit terrine with peach & apricot chutney, fish pie, salt marsh lamb, welsh black beef, all of which are locally sourced. The enhanced flavour and quality of the food served certainly impressed us.The atmosphere is homely and totally relaxing, the bar which is run by husbands Mark Manson and Simon Wright has an excellent choice of wines also real ale locally brewed. The whole experience must not be missed and we consider it value for money which we are pleased to highly recommend.
Y Polyn Restaurant – CarmarthenA nice pub good beer & ale outstanding food. Friendly staff & cross the road & the sea is there. I can't say anything bad because there is nothing bad about the place.
Amroth Arms – TenbyThis is the best pub in the world! My grampa owns it ,his name is Gino Rabaiotti! And my dad owns it his name is Chris Rabaiotti! I think everybody should go there!
Potters, The – NewportWe get to the Ichiban most Saturdays with the kids, food is brilliant, cost low, particularly if you go before 2pm 20% discount. Staff are wonderful with the kids Feel loath to recommend as it might become too popular
Ichiban – CardiffThe gallery is simply a lovely way to spend your time, the food is great the atmosphere is great, the service is great and the price is above reasonable for the quality of what you get. Not only is this place unique for Barry, its unique for South Wales. Its all the fantastic things that come with eating in an amazing restaurant but without the pretension.
Gallery Restaurant Bar and Exhibition Space – BarryWhen I went to the five arches tavern in Tenby, it was great, a lovely welcoming pub that does beautiful food. The food was quick, and very tasty. Nice working staff, there was a young boy who worked there he was great, very helpful, and always had a smile on his face. The five arches tavern are lucky to have him, his name was Billy Connor. I rate it 9 out of 10
Five Arches Tavern – TenbyHad many take aways from here, quality outstanding, very generous portions, cannot fault. One main meal plus rice will easily do 2 people. The Dhansak is to die for.
Spice Restaurant and TakeAway – BridgendThis restaurant never disappoints. We have compared it with restaurants in the north of England and London. All dishes are fresh and well prepared and the service here is excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending The Shoboraj
Shoboraj Indian Cuisine – NewportJust returned from another fabulous evening at the Shoboraj. The food, as always, was excellent and very fresh with a wonderful selection of dishes suitable for vegetarians as well. Being somewhat of a curry aficionado, this still beats any of the many other restaurants I have been to in Bradford, London and Liverpool. The staff are always friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I can heartily recommend the channa balti and the spinach is wonderful. Will definitely be back again soon!
Shoboraj Indian Cuisine – Newportlong wait for table even though we booked but it was worth the wait the staff made the evening for us and the food was the best. u need to try this place
