Just a little more expensive than other similar restaurants with much higher quality food/ambience/decor etc. If you want restaurant that little bit special the slight extra cost is well worth it.

What a fabulous restaurant. How do they do it? Fantastic meals superbly served for a cost so low as to be unbelievable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

you can have mixed grill on sizzler for under 6 pounds very tasty and a bargain when i ate here i realised what a rip off tgi fridays was the week before 4 times the price

We went for my 16th birthday and we had to wait in the bar area for about to hours to get a table (which was booked) served our food at 11:00, by then the limo was waiting to take us back home, which we told the staff about the circumstances. Other than that it was a very nice evening and i will be eating there again, but they can get busy, which leads onto very poor organisation skills in this place

Excellent food, freshly cooked and mouth watering. Amazing service. The restaurant is very relaxing and has a fantastic atmosphere - you don't want to leave. The menu is highly original with different types of meals offered along with traditional ones. Excellent! Once tried, you want to stay away!!

Great place especially the food but also the con temporary video art showing on 8 screens. Nothing like it in Cardiff

Location wise you cannot get a better restaurant. Get there early to have a window seat looking out across the sea to watch the setting sun. Add to this good company and the good beer and food and you've got the best restaurant in the Britain.

very friendly pub in the beautiful village of cenarth. Barry and marian are excellent welcoming hosts. new non smoking restaurant under way with a non smoking section in the pub to eat. log fire and food served all day. try it!!

The first time we dined at this restaurant my husband and I were very impressed. We have returned on numerous occasions to find the same high standards and delicious food. By far the best Italian restaurant in Cardiff (and we have tried them all !). A little more pricey than most italian restaurants but worth the extra pennies. Well worth a visit, but you need to book on weekends as it gets busy.

Although there isn't much room to sit and eat your food here, the food itself is amazing! I can thoroughly recommend my favourite - the meatball feast Panini, but all the other baguettes, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, etc... are all fantastic. The milkshakes are gorgeous, the hot chocolate is really rich and creamy and there's a good range of crisps, cakes, cold and hot drinks. This is the best place for lunch in Cardiff!

The Hollybush has just been taken over by a couple from pencoed and i have to say the work they have put into the pub is fantastic the price of the food is very reasonable. They welcome families and couples of all ages thank you eddie and alice for your hospitality, I will tell all about this

food and service is superb especially the pretty little waitress Nia. Had the veal and it was outstanding. the atmosphere was ecstatic well worth a visit

Great atmosphere, went for our birthday-services was spot on, staff and managers were very professional. Would definitely recommend. I would advise to book as they are very busy esp weekends. Loved it!!

Probably the best Indian Restaurant in the UK

Looking for a place to have your Xmas party, look no further, we had a great time at the Hafodyrynys excellent food, really nice bar staff and a very nice Xmas atmosphere along with good entertainment, Thanks Tom & Colin for a great night.

From the moment you walk in you are greeted with a friendly smile and are made to feel welcome. The standard of cleanliness is excellent and the food choice and taste superb, if you are vegetarian you will love this restaurant as much as meat lovers. they constantly top up your coffee at the end of the meal for no extra charge and its the little touches like the mints, hot towels, and flower for the ladies at the end that make this an absolute pleasure, in fact I? off there again tonight.

This is a very friendly, happy pub, with great food and a very reasonable price. Average price a pint £1.80, excellent friendly bar staff. enjoyed by locals and visitors
