My 95 year old mother and I thoroughly enjoyed a treat of afternoon tea. There was a friendly welcome on arrival followed by attentive service in a warm traditional setting with lovely white linen and china crockery with views over the gardens. The food was well presented and warm scones especially good. There was unprompted top up of our chosen beverages without additional charge. We would certainly go again.

Pacino’s – ChesterWe were a table of 6, and visited on Mothers Day. We ate in the newly refurbished La Cappella restaurant. The atmosphere was really enjoyable, the service and attentiveness of the staff was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble, and the staff were friendly and approachable. The food was fresh, hot and extremely tasty. There was a wide range of food choices on the menu. Some of our family members had the roasts, and some had the Italian food. It’s wonderful to be able to pick and choose either the roasts or Italian food. Our children loved the food too. We were super impressed and are already booked in to return with friends.

Everything went without a hitch, and I had no unfavourable feed-back from anyone. You can please all the people all the time !!!

Birchwood Spice – WarringtonBefore going I had heard mixed things about the service not being great but I wanted to see for myself. The restaurant has a nice interior. We were given a £4.99 bottle of Prosecco from Aldi and charged £30 for it. We had a 40 minute wait for the food (there was only 4 other tables in) when the food did arrive there was no apology. The food was nice but it didn’t blow me away and I’ve had much nicer tapas in Macclesfield and Bollington. I emailed the restaurant to let them know how disappointed I was and I’ve heard nothing back. I will not be going back and I would not recommend.
