Fantastic!!!
Bollicini – ChesterI live about 100m from the pub and it is the perfect site location for me. I walk down the road get greeted by all the staff and eat the nicest food from a pub or restaurant I have ever had. The fine wines and beers are fantastic and sell really quickly. Saturday night dinings are the best but you must book early because they are full with bookings on that night! Fantastic place.
Farmers Arms – NantwichLunch here is enjoyable, but, somehow the place can feel a little unkempt. The view across The Dee is good and, for the price, I enjoy the whole experience. It is one of those places you like or you don't, a number of people I know will not go there again. I would.
Marsh Cat Restaurant – ParkgateI have been for a meal with my family to the coach & horses and found there to be a warm welcome even for my younger child the service was very good & the food was great. There was a good selection of beers wines & soft drinks. There is a lovely beer garden but the weather was not that good when I went but I will be visiting there again very soon.
Coach and Horses Inn – CreweI am a local and have been using this place with my family regularly for several years. The winning combination is simple: It's a smart, unpretentious gourmet eating experience with very friendly staff, nice atmosphere at a decent price. What more do you want? Well done Lucy and co... Keep up the good work!
Pastiche – KnutsfordIt seems no one else goes here!!! Lovely day so sat o/s under umbrellas, don? know if this was a good move or not as service was a tad too slow for my two year old this time. Food as good as ever. Shame about length of time between courses.
Frankie and Bennys – Ellesmere PortI went along to the new terrace it was a lovely spot, I enjoyed their express lunch outside in the sunshine, which only cost £8.95.
Convivio – ChesterThis is a small cosy restaurant, ideal for anyone who likes their Chinese food.
King Wah Restaurant – Bebingtonwe went to celebrate a friends 30th birthday and had the most wonderful meal. The staff were very accommodating, the food was cooked to perfection and the menu is very flexible. The belle epoque made a special cake for our celebrations and presented it very tastefully. Thank you for making the birthday celebrations very special.
Belle Epoque – KnutsfordAt last Cheshire has a proper pub! Real ale combined with some of the best food, i've ever had, & for no more than most of the rubbishy chain pubs around here
Duke Of Portland – NorthwichA pleasant pub, where they serve better than average wine, quite a good choice. The bar staff offered me a taster when I couldn't choose between two. There's a blackboard by the entrance (easily missed) which lists fish dishes and other boards listing 'specials'. It can get very busy so expect to wait a bit for your food.
Hinderton Arms – ParkgateThe chairs are very uncomfortable and the wine waitress, surely. The food is usually good, but due to the above we tend not to eat there very often.
Marsh Cat Restaurant – ParkgateThis pub caters for everybody, with a wide range of dishes, from homemade pies to swordfish and tuna steaks! To top it all they made homemade chips. We stay on their campsite regularly and the kids are made very welcome.
Cotton Arms – NantwichWe have eaten several times at the Bhurtpore and always had an excellent meal. They do crackin' curries too, very authentic. The Real Ales are a bonus.
Bhurtpore Inn – NantwichA cut above the average pub, probably because this place isn't clearly owned by a large chain. Decent beer on tap, and a wide range of fish and meat specials plus a decent standard menu selling all the usual pub fayre. Food was well executed with no fuss. It's not quite a gastro-pub, but closer than many others round there! Recommended if you fancy a decent pub meal in a genuinely uncontrived relaxed country pub atmosphere.
Hinderton Arms – ParkgateAce service and food. spot on
Frankie and Bennys – Ellesmere PortAn old fashioned pub. Good beer and wines and simple but well presented lunchtime food.
Bluebell Inn – SandbachAbsolutely the best Italian I have has the pleasure of dinning in - great food, spectacular atmosphere and a very friendly welcome from the staff.
