Enzo – NantwichJust want to say a big thank you to all the staff at Marco Marco for making my 40th birthday so special . Food was excellent and especially loved being embarrassed by all the staff singing to me and the chefs banging their pans together ! keep up the good work guys
Marco Marco – LymmCharming little place, really. Took my missus (big lady) here with our three mongrels (the staff didn't mind our muts being there and even wiped Terry's paw when he put it in my spaghetti, always the sign of a fine establishment). The foie gras pork pie was innovative and delicious. I would have loved to try the Chateux Plon D'Vie but waiter Giovanni recommended a bottle of Tizer to share. Overall, an extraordinary night, thank you the Daten.
Culcheth Sports Club (The Daten) – WarringtonThis is the best Indian restaurant and the foods gorgeous, good flavour and the staffs are friendly and the room lovely
Spice Lounge – WarringtonI have been twice recently to the Nags Head for a meal. Excellent food quality and service. Red Poll beef is excellent. If you just want a drink there is a lovely lounge area with comfy sofas and warm fire and TV if you want it.
The Nags Head – ChesterWe have been dining here for years, the food was always very good but the service lacked sparkle once you were served, there was very little proactivity from the staff, they seemed to want you to finish your meal and leave. However, just lately the food is terrible, we sent my wifes canelloni back as it was cold in the middle and when it returned it was burned, we refused to pay for it. Several other diners sent their food back on the same evening. What was a reasonable priced restaurant with an 'eat and leave' attitude has now become a no go. Shame.
Giovannis – CreweI have to say it is very rare i will go to the extreme of taking time out to leave reviews about places we have eaten but really felt the need to do this after visiting Vatikka, Indian is my favourite food and since moving to Widnes five years ago have tried a few but none had ticked all the boxes, however after dining in Vatikka one Saturday evening i commented to my husband "we found the one". we ordered our first delivery this weekend and it was quite simply divine so much so i didn't leave any for breakfast the next morning, soooooo delighted we have found our favourite Indian here in Widnes and don't feel the need to drive out of town anymore. well done Vatikka.xx

The Nags Head – Chesterthe carvery i find good but plain, but the chicken in sauce was absolutely beautiful, and the melt in the middle chocolate pudding is to die fore, prices very good as well, i wish they had a dish where you had a choice of sauces to have with any dish you order, well worth a visit.
Water Mead – Northwichwait 2 hours for food to come then its cold and dried up will never order again from here
Hollywood Pizza – WidnesWe rang the Saffron and booked, we arrived and were not seated, merely scowled at, the place was empty aside from people in the bar waiting for the rest of their large, well 6, party. It was obvious they were the sole focus of the 2 staff. The staff were surly and hostile, they finally seated us, eventually brought our drinks and took our order, after an age brought the so-so food, the Stone Grill is a rip-off gimmick btw, then left the plates et al on our table til we eventually had to go and seek them out to request our bill. When I eventually found the staff they were sat on their arses playing with their phones, and these weren't 'kids' they were oldish guys who should know better! We never even managed to get a second drink as they just left us to our own devices. To sum up: the worst service I have ever experienced, never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant in our life, so no tip for these lacklustre chaps! We have never had a worse dining experience! So avoid, unless you are a masochist, the place may look pretty but all that glisters is most definitely NOT gold and we shan't be back!
Saffron – WidnesThis pub has just re opened as a traditional pub with a log fire and great food. Reasonably priced, the food is absolutely fabulous.
The Nags Head – ChesterExcellent Italian restaurant with a choice of various pizzas, pastas, salads etc. Good atmosphere, much more authentic than most. Service could be more efficient though!
La Fattoria – ChesterI have been going to Chesters ever since it opened and have never had a bad meal there yet. The staff are attentive and very friendly and Pepe is always courteous and nothing is ever too much trouble for him. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys excellent food and good ambience.
Chesters – MacclesfieldMagnificent roast - Big Red Sundays are a must now! Top staff, and most importantly, superb, local beef!
Red Lion – MarpleI have been going to this restaurant for many years and I've never had a bad meal,in fact every meal has been excellent. The staff and service are top class.very good value for money
Trattoria Baci – LymmIt's not great.....we live locally so are always keen to try it out when it changes hands (in the past 4 years it's been an Italian, an Indian, an Italian and now another Indian. We went in just after it reopened and were surprised that the previous nice decoration had been replaced by horrid cheap salmon and lemon coloured gloss paint, everywhere. Food was just OK, nothing special, and as we were the only customers in there (7pm on a Sat night, not good) all 4 waiters kept hovering round us, asking if everything was OK every 2 minutes. We had a takeaway recently, which took an hour and three quarters to arrive, despite 4 phone calls, and they kept saying "oh, he just left, he'll be with you in 5 minutes" So despite living within 2 miles of the place, there are plenty of other, much better Indian restaurants in the area (Shaad in Congleton being one of them).
Zest Restaurant – SandbachA very warm welcome from the minute you enter. Excellent service from a very attentive and professional staff. Food simply the best with lovely subtle flavours in all the dishes. Go and enjoy.
