Had a really good time here, great atmosphere and the best steak I've had in a long time. Ended up staying and drinking cocktails all night, the staff were all lovely and friendly, would really recommend a visit!

Cafe Salar – LymmMr chows was a great place to eat we went on the 28/05/2012 and sat at the rear down stairs to find spiders and cobwebs the chicken does not taste like chicken or even look like it the texture is wrong i used to live in Neston and was a regular visitor but now i dont think i will be going back such a shame as the setting is great
I recently went here for lunch with my family and was really impressed. The staff were great with the kids and gave us some paper and crayons to keep them entertained, and a good deal on the children’s menu too. I have allergies to certain foods so sometimes feel a bit of a nuisance at restaurants trying to find something I can eat. But the staff were full of suggestions for me and the chef was very accommodating to my needs. Will definitely go again!
Cafe Salar – Lymmi would be very interested in receiving any special offers. Many thanks
1539 Restaurant and Bar – ChesterGreat food , great staff providing warm and welcoming dining experience . So much so I'm going back tonight !!!!!!!!!!!!
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachWent in recently with some friends for a bite to eat and some cocktails before heading off to Manchester, food was great and not too expensive. Sat at the bar and had a good laugh with the lads serving us. First time but definitely won't be the last!
Cafe Salar – LymmEaten here twice within a few weeks and ended up with food poisoning on both occasions. Had chicken wings to start on first occasion and the chicken was off. I sent it back and was told that the chef said it wasn't off! I think I can tell when chicken is off or not. I went to tell the barman in case they sold more to others. A few hours later I was violently ill. The second time was last night, I had scampi and thought the first piece tasted a bit odd but didn't complain, again I was violently ill when I got home. Its a nice place for a drink but please do not eat here.
Bunbury Arms – ChesterI've been to most of the 'Indian Cuisine' restaurants in Wirral and i rate the Vindaloo right up there with the best. The food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, the service excellent and the staff very welcoming and friendly. You can take your own drinks which helps keep the cost down for large parties. Be warned though, the Chicken Madras is Madras in flavour but has a kick like an Elephant gun; so if you like something hot the Vindaloo lives up to its name. However, there are plenty of less fiery dishes to choose from and the staff will explain clearly what is what.
Vindaloo Indian Restaurant Contemporary Cuisine – PrentonSince the relaunch of the Ring O Bells after the refurbishment I have eaten there on a number of occasions. A number of us went for Sunday lunch and would highly recommend both the food and the service. A la carte menu, choice excellent, food quality fabulous, would highly recommend. We are so lucky to have such a fantastic venue with fabulous food and service on our doorstep. give it a go, you will not be disappointed!
Ring O Bells – Widnesthe food served was over cooked and dry and tasteless. the main door was kept open all the time we were there on a cold day. when i closed the door a member of staff had the door open again before i got back to my seat. i won't be going there again.
Wilmslow Tavern – WilmslowAPPAULING - Carvery booked at least 6 wks in advance then had to wait 30 minutes for table no apology given staff abrupt and stressed out. Starters was good, however given the choice of chicken/beef gammon for mains we choose chicken only to be told later that there was no chicken. After a long wait had to ask staff for Main course - veg was barely cooked, Yorkshire pud burnt beef inedible, complained to waiter who gave the response "oh", couldn't waste any more time there so we walked - do yourself a favour and avoid!
Wilmslow Tavern – WilmslowWent to their supper club night - 5 courses for £13.95, everything was delicious, you weren't rushed through the meal, or having to leave the table at the end of the meal, service was great, highly recommended
The Nags Head – ChesterGood food but far too often over charging for food. Approx. 15 visits and at least 5 times the bill has had items that should not have been there (normally £10 to £20's worth of items - so well worth the mention). Real shame.
The Gunnery Bar & Restaurant – ChesterAttended a wonderful live jazz evening here on Sunday. We ate first in the restaurant then walked over to their piano bar. Was a terrific evening, we even had a dance. Very friendly and attentive staff food was great and a fabulous atmosphere. Only downside was cask ale was off due to a cellar problem but at £2.50 a pint I will definitely coming back here.
Marco Marco – LymmExcellent service, but disappointed with the bland food. Menu a little pricey for pub grub.
Holly Bush Inn – SandbachThis review is because Giovanni new manager at Marco Marco made me and my friends so welcome making our night perfect. The food was delicious and could not fault the service. Loved the artwork on the walls and looking forward to their new bar so we can drink lots of champagne
Marco Marco – LymmHave read the review by Sidney w g Boulton and the food sounds fab will be coming to sample it ourselves.
The Barn India – Crewe20 years i have been going here, probably only twice a year over recent years, but I LOVE THE PLACE. Took the parent out a couple of months ago, and then the parents as well as introducing the girlfriend this week. Food, authentic, tasty and punctual, Staff are keen, little quick on the order requests after handing out the menus but we'd all prefer it that way!! Garlic bread (as it comes) is a real good kick off. There is a special but while the rest of the menu doesn't change.. bar in price.. it remains a lovely evening for couples, parents, families and off the cuff evenings. Enjoy!!
