Excellent as always. We were a group of 16 people who went for a birthday celebaration and every one enjoyed thoroughly and good to see the restaurant packed.

Oak n Grill – WidnesAttended a murder mystery night here (my first ever – I didn’t do it!) which was held on the top floor in a private dining area. It’s a lovely old warehouse-type building hidden away down a lane in the centre of Chester and the restoration appears tip-top, seamlessly blending the old with the new. The ground-floor bar area, which we only glimpsed, appeared to have a great ambience and was beautifully lit. The food was excellent too – I had a spicy prawn starter, chicken with dauphinoise and cheesecake -- although the service was a bit sporadic which I guess reflects the size of the party. Overall though, very impressive and would definitely recommend if you are visiting Chester.

The vodka and diet coke was not good. it could Also do with a good lick of paint and a clean. Filthy inside. I shall score it as 3 out of 10.
