We had a lovely meal, great service and really nice food. Beautifully presented. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Very helpful.

The staff were very accommodating considering the difficulties they were given They were friendly and helpful. The issues were no draught bitter or bottles, and were then told there was no chicken dishes available on the menu .which restrict it to about half the menu. They also ran out of milk for coffee.. and this was Saturday evening .. Apart from the above.. the meal we had was good quality and enjoyed it We will return again but hope to have a bigger menu to choose from

We had a lovely meal at the Codrington arms for my daughters birthday. Really generous portions of home cooked food. My husband had the pork chop which he said was fantastic and the gravy was so tasty, his only complaint was there was only one chop!!. Excellent value for money , lovely staff and waitresses.

The dining room is surprisingly spacious and music is muted, so conversation with one's friends is much easier than in most gastro pubs. Excellent menu with something for everyone. Generous portions nicely served. This first visit won't be our last.

Lovely food and service! Only complaint would be portion size of sausage roll starter. Far too small for the price - needs doubling in size to make it worthwhile but very tasty. Only disappointing part of our meal.

Great meal and really good service.

Arrived at 2 o’clock for 2 15 booking of 6 sat down at 2 55 and told that there was no beef left we were very disappointed.

The Sunday lunch was very good, the staff really friendly and they even gave us some treats for the dog (who was also welcome). Definitely a pub to be used regularly.

Nice pub, good Sunday roast, not keen on the faggots however another guest enjoyed theirs. We didn’t stop for dessert since these are pricey along with the wine, that we did enjoy.

Lovely food at this quiet pub. Plant burgers were amazing. Would recommend.
