Arrived at 2 o’clock for 2 15 booking of 6 sat down at 2 55 and told that there was no beef left we were very disappointed.

The Sunday lunch was very good, the staff really friendly and they even gave us some treats for the dog (who was also welcome). Definitely a pub to be used regularly.

Nice pub, good Sunday roast, not keen on the faggots however another guest enjoyed theirs. We didn’t stop for dessert since these are pricey along with the wine, that we did enjoy.

Lovely food at this quiet pub. Plant burgers were amazing. Would recommend.

We had a lovely meal on 12/10 for our wedding anniversary. The food was delicious and the hunters chicken was the best I have ever had.

Went for a family meal, the food is of a high standard and 4 of us had the pie offer which is amazing value for money with dessert included.such a shame it was not busier

Booked a wake for my Mum, staff were incredibly helpful and recommended appropriate menu options etc. Food was excellent and staff helped box up any leftovers.

This is a very under valued pub. While this had not been out first choice (others fully booked) we were not disappointed. The food was basic but well cooked while we waited and good value for money. The staff were friendly and quick to serve. Will visit again and recommend

We had a very enjoyable evening at The Cod. Service was great, food was outstanding. Would definitely go back again & wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

What can I say, we booked a table of 20 to celebrate my husband’s 60th, I cannot fault it, food was perfect and all served at the same time , both starters and main. Staff were absolutely lovely making sure everything was as I had requested, everyone in our party said what a lovely evening, great food and very helpful staff. I would highly recommend, for a party or a quiet meal , thanks to all the staff for making it such a lovely evening for my husband s birthday

We never got to eat at The Codrington Arms as when we arrived they had a 60th birthday celebration and was told we would have to wait around 45-50 minutes for our food. As we had travelled all the way from Melksham, we were very disappointed. Our table was booked over a week ago so they had more than enough time to call or email us to change our booking

Booked a meal for my Mum's birthday. The food was great, everyone enjoyed their meals and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back here again.
