Lovely meal. They've done a great job of organising socially distanced eating. The staff were very organised, and did very well under the circumstances. The food was lovely... and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Great food, lovely staff, we received an excellent service and they have done a fantastic job getting the restaurant ready for social distanced dining.

We had the early bird menu which we both really enjoyed I had the vodka pasta and it was absolutely delicious, the service was was attentive.Well worth a visit.

Tried the early bird dinner here and was very pleased we did. The food , the service and the general ambiance was excellent. Will definitely return soon.

Good food and service as always. Sundays menu is definitely value for money.

Went for a family meal and as always the experience started the moment we entered. Greeted with a happy face, got some drinks in and were shown our table. Sounds quick but they explained that a large party were due soon and we had children so they thought it better to sit down and get fed. The food and service was excellent and we all left content.

I have been dining at Papa Luigis for over 30 years. Excellent food, excellent location, ample parking, friendly and efficient staff. I could not recommend a better restaurant in the area as I have yet to find one!

Gorgeous place with food to match!

This compact restaurant (every space used) is very friendly, it has some good staff serving some great foods. Warm welcome upon arrival, friendly barman, maitre de was accommodating, servers were efficient and again friendly enough. Foods were nicely presented and of those we ate, excellent in taste. Cannelloni is one of the best around.

My friend and myself had a lovely meal and a good catch up, in a nice, relaxed atmosphere, with good service throughout the evening.

1st time visit and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent, as was the service. We will definitely be visiting again and have already recommended to friends and family.

This was our first visit and will definitely be coming back very soon. The welcome was great, staff efficient and pleasant and swift with our drinks and taking our orders. The food was excellent and of a very high standard. The place is decorated to a high standard and a lovely warm feeling to the place overall excellent venue .

We visited the restaurant for my son's 16th birthday. The food was delicious & hot, with a great choice available from the menu. The atmosphere was lively & the waiting staff were friendly & helpful. It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all.

I booked a table for 3 on friday 13th Dec on their website at 11am, 1st for 7pm then 6pm, both times were available, i got a confirmation email to say all booked, I thought great because the staff and the food is always brilliant!! Anyway i get a phone call about 1pm saying they don't have a table now due to the website being faulty, but they can offer a table for 2 but not a 3!! how daft is that when the person i was talking to could see i had booked a table for 3 people!! i don't think the 3rd person( my daughter) would appreciate me saying to her oh sorry you cant come now cos there is only a table for 2 available, when that night was a celebration on her getting into Liverpool University!!. Anyway we managed to book somewhere else and have a good evening!! Papa Luigis's please sort out your website, we are a regular at your restaurant and we do enjoy your atmosphere & food.

Main course was great, but desert was disappointing, ordered sticky toffee pudding, but it was a ginger pudding, and instead of toffee sauce, it had a raspberry sauce all over, didn’t get it taken off bill even though mentioned we didn’t like it.

I have been here few times and food always been nice ! We had the Xmas menu I had pate same as my friend salmon pasta & profiteroles for desert ! Unfortunately I woke up at 2.30am being sick I think it must of been the salmon so for this reason I won’t return or recommend this restaurant!

Booked for a table of 8 on Sunday for my husbands birthday service was brilliant amazing food brilliant atmosphere great night highly recommend
