Visited on New Years Eve. Really good atmosphere in the Restaurant. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Food was beautifully presented and tasted superb. Only 1 of us had eaten Ox Cheek before but everyone enjoyed it. This is a regular haunt of ours and it never disappoints.

The Blue Anchor – ColchesterFirst visit here with friend for breakfast. Full English and eggs Benedict were very nice and good quality food. Staff were friendly and efficient. Everything was lovely and clean and the garden centre itself is very nice, not over priced.

The service was also outstanding with exceptionally attentive table service, creating the perfect atmosphere for a family occasion. Would highly recommend.

It took far to long for the order to be taken and then an hours wait for it to arrive. The order then arrived wrong Very disappointed as I have been to the Barn in the past and had an excellent experience.

Food was delicious, very well cooked and presented. Parking is easy, and although I've not visited for a while, standards all round are as good as ever.
