Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldI booked a table for lunch 5/9/25 for myself and sister in law.Quite busy when we arrived and it took a few moments to find out where our table was. Disappointing to sit down then realise there are no menus on the table. Back to the counter to order drinks ( we didn’t want to eat straight away). I ordered a bottle of wine, Diet Coke and sparkling water. A glass was provided for the wine and two paper cups for the water and coke ….really. £22 and you want me to drink from paper cups. However the lovely lady serving me (after asking twice) managed to get glasses from the kitchen. Food was good and served promptly. Tables are a little cramped and we were seated near door through to gift shop. A very cold breeze was blowing through. Nice lunch but unfortunately we won’t be back.

I was so impressed I took my team back two days after my first encounter. The atmosphere is excellent and service spot on. It has knocked the Thai off the top of my list as my favourite place to eat in Buxton, I will go back.

Couldn’t manage to eat all the cakes so the very helpful waitress brought us boxes so we could take them home and enjoy them later. Very clean and table nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend.

It was a double birthday celebration and we were surprised with how lovely the table was set out with birthday banners, flowers etc… the service was friendly and the waitress couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend!
