Food was ‘ok’ not really hot enough but will defo try again. The serving staff were inappropriately dressed, midriff showing. Phones in bs k pockets. Lovely girls but not giving out the right vibes. Need to smarten your staff up

Always our go to place when visiting Buxton, never had a disappointing meal. Recent visit as always was gorgeous, will be back in a couple of months, we love the Kangaroo, nice to have a considered menu

My dear friend and I enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea experience, we couldn't have been treated any better by the staff at Renishaw. The food was well presented and was very tasty. I would certainly recommend Renishaw for a really lovely place to bring family and friends. Until the next time, thankyou all.

I booked a table for lunch 5/9/25 for myself and sister in law.Quite busy when we arrived and it took a few moments to find out where our table was. Disappointing to sit down then realise there are no menus on the table. Back to the counter to order drinks ( we didn’t want to eat straight away). I ordered a bottle of wine, Diet Coke and sparkling water. A glass was provided for the wine and two paper cups for the water and coke ….really. £22 and you want me to drink from paper cups. However the lovely lady serving me (after asking twice) managed to get glasses from the kitchen. Food was good and served promptly. Tables are a little cramped and we were seated near door through to gift shop. A very cold breeze was blowing through. Nice lunch but unfortunately we won’t be back.

Couldn’t fault anything, steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, cod was divine. The staff were on the ball and the atmosphere was great.

What a find. Food quality and choice was amazing with meals ranging from burgers to Zebra steaks, the hardest part was deciding what to eat. I was so impressed I took my team back two days after my first encounter. The atmosphere is excellent and service spot on. It has knocked the Thai off the top of my list as my favourite place to eat in Buxton, I will go back.

Lovely breakfast. Very clean and bright. Nice atmosphere. Small so would recommend booking if more than 2 people. Easy to book on line.

We only had a main course but couldn’t fault it. The kangaroo steak and chicken pie were cooked to perfection and the chips were the best I’ve had in ages. Service and value for money was also great.

Had a lovely afternoon tea with a glass of wine. Plenty of food, really nice cakes, sandwiches and savouries along with a scone, jam and clotted cream. Couldn’t manage to eat all the cakes so the very helpful waitress brought us boxes so we could take them home and enjoy them later. Very clean and table nicely decorated. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent afternoon tea with sparkling wine from Renishaw Hall. It was a double birthday celebration and we were surprised with how lovely the table was set out with birthday banners, flowers etc… the service was friendly and the waitress couldn’t do enough for us. Would definitely recommend!

I had the Peruvian chicken and my wife the blackened salmon. Two of the best meals we've had for a while (yes we shared a bit!). Atmosphere was great, service nice and prompt. Comfy chairs too. Absolutely fab. Definitely would recommend to anyone.
