Once again another lovely meal Ragley. The staff were all very friendly and well versed in the measures in place to ensure covid restrictions were adhered to. We had to install the app to order but this was all very self explanatory and staff were on hand to deal with any queries the food came quicker than the app said it would once the order was placed and the steaks were all cooked to perfection to individual likings. We then used the app again to order deserts and again these came promptly after the order was submitted. One of our favourite places to eat out in Derby, it’s a bit of a treck for us but well worth it. Great value, great quality food. Planning our next visit already.

Service was friendly and helpful, I had the liver bacon and it was beautifully cooked., couldn't fault the food.

Not brilliant, food all over the floor so had to get someone to clean up they did half of it and left the rest, my meal wasn’t the warmest and has cold chips which they changed. I won’t be going back especially with COVID still around I don’t believe that is was clean enough .

I often go here to eat out with my family, and I have never had a bad word to say or ever had a bad experience. Sadly I recently went and had a meal with a friend and my daughter and this experience was just not the same the staff were very rude! The food was cold and new instructions on how to order food and things because of COVID were not explained by staff when being seated, we just got the menu and was left which meant I had to as staff members who were going past on what now happens with ordering and things. This doesn’t mean I won’t visit again but I wasn’t happy with my last visit

Ragley boat stop has been a favourite of ours for years. Never had one bad meal here, foods good value for money, clean & nice atmosphere. Great in summer to sit out round the back by the Canal.

Been going to the Ragley Boat Stop for years. Never had a bad meal. Staff are always really friendly. Food is great value for money. Never leave there hungry! Love the open fire they have too.

Well this place has been 1 of my favourite places to eat always a good meal pleasant staff, great menu and any problems with food or drink it is sorted straight away would highly recommend

Not been to Ragley for a while, we took our son and his girlfriend for a meal. The welcome and service was excellent( even tho they were really busy). Food was really delicious, we had the superman mixed grill, new york burger, chicken fajitas and steak. All cooked to our liking, and didn't have to wait to long. Deserts were delicious also. Will definitely not leave it too long before returning.

We chose the steak offer meals which included a bottle of wine. The meal was very nice but I wish the choice of steak would be put back as I prefer the smaller sirloin steak rather than the 10oz rump.

Really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and pleasant helpful staff. Food excellent as usual and great choice of dishes. Will keep coming here as it never fails.

Quality of food was very poor. Had a mixed grill which was over cooked, steak and ale pie with the filling being dry and over cooked and a children’s pizza which looked very similar to a well known microwave brand.

Poor food quality! We had 3 rump steak a steak and ale pie and a kids 4 cheese pizza The stakes were over cooked and the cut of meat was poor it didn’t taste like rump steak. The steak and ale pie was a can of meat microwaved in a boil with a precooked puff pastry thing dumped on the top. The kids pizza was out of a box that I could have brought from any high street supermarket. The menu claimed home made steak and ale pie there was nothing home made about anything served. I’ve eaten at the Ragley boat stop for year and food has always been really good but on this occasion it was very poor you seem to have away from fresh well prepaid food to fast pre cooked rubbish

My family and i have been eating at the Ragley Boat stop for many years and have always received great service and the food has always been good and excellent value. i know we are in difficult times but the cleanliness and procedures here are very good. We as a family will continue to eat here as much as possible. Carry on the good work Ragley staff.

Ordered a mixed grill with a medium/rare steak. The steak was medium and the liver was overcooked and rock hard. The food had gone right down hill at the minute .

I have been eating at the Ragley for a number of years on Thursday for the last 5 weeks I have noticed that the quality and portion sizes have gone down the steak was over cooked the portions have got smaller
