Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldWhat a delightful place to eat ! Plenty of seating indoor and out, delicious food, not at all pricey and you must try the renishaw wines. Highly recommended
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldGreat humourous service from Ian our waiter. Lovely afternoon tea which was enjoyed by us all, especially our guest who had been unable to attend our wedding reception at Renishaw Hall previously. She loved being in the Rex Whistler room where we had our reception. Thank you everyone.

The Plough Inn – AlfretonWe booked the afternoon tea. The room and tables were set out lovely. We enjoyed the tea however we felt that the sandwiches were rather plain. Would have been nice to have the sausage roll and the very small quiche warm. Think it's overpriced for what you got. The staff were friendly but I felt the overall service was a little disorganised. We had to wait at the till a while to pay our bill. Will come back and try the other food on offer sometime.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldThe staff were delightful and most helpful. The house tour most informative . I love the gardens, most inspiring. The food at the cafe was good, but the system seemed a little confusing.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldWe booked an afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The table in the Rex Whistler room was dressed for the occasion. The food was superb in freshness, taste, variety and presentation and the waiting staff were very welcoming and friendly. All in all a really great experience! 5 out of 5 on all counts! We have had afternoon teas in tourist destinations such as York and Harrogate and this was of a far higher standard.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldWe had breakfast full English All was excellent best breakfast we've had for along time All locally produced
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldFood was good.
The Plough Inn – AlfretonThe full English breakfast was excellent and provided a large and full plate to enjoy. This hearty breakfast set us up for the day and a walk around the gardens and lakes. Great service and a lovely cafe , so definitely recommend.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldReally disappointing and, to be honest, poor. Dined as a group of 4 with friends. Ordered 3 fish and chips and one sandwich. Restaurant was far from busy but we were told there wiuld be a 30minute wait. Fair enough. Two fish and chips eventually appeared, very cold, flabby and obviously not freshly cooked. Nothing else appeared fo 15 minutes. They had lost the other half of our order. No apologies, just a sort of ' these things happen' shrug. Poor food, worse customer service.
Renishaw Hall and Gardens Cafe – ChesterfieldExcellent food service and atmosphere in a lovely location. The table setting was a very thoughtful addition to a great afternoon tea.beautiful garden grounds to enjoy either before or after your food. Helped by the wonderful weather but would be good for any special celebration or just a relaxing meal.
