Amazing afternoon tea. Myself and my friend have sampled a lot over the years and this one was great. Lovely service and Ian was particularly good. Always checking in on us and he was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

The Plough Inn – AlfretonWe booked the afternoon tea. The room and tables were set out lovely. We enjoyed the tea however we felt that the sandwiches were rather plain. Would have been nice to have the sausage roll and the very small quiche warm. Think it's overpriced for what you got. The staff were friendly but I felt the overall service was a little disorganised. We had to wait at the till a while to pay our bill. Will come back and try the other food on offer sometime.

The food was superb in freshness, taste, variety and presentation and the waiting staff were very welcoming and friendly. All in all a really great experience! 5 out of 5 on all counts! We have had afternoon teas in tourist destinations such as York and Harrogate and this was of a far higher standard.
