We were made very welcome on our first visit to the Bentley Brook Inn. Very friendly and helpful staff through the pub. Good weather gave us the opportunity to sit in the extendive garden before our meal, to partake of a refreshing drink, particularly after our walk in nearby Dove Dale. A good choice menu, lovely food and attentive service. Three generations of our family all thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had been several times but on this visit we ordered our meal which came within 20 minutes the sauce we ordered didn’t arrive with our order and throughout the meal no member of staff came to ask if everything was ok with the meal we were disappointed with the service aspect of the establishment and will not be returning

We love the Plough we have been coming for around a year after discovering it by chance. The food is always home cooked and amazing and the atmosphere and team are always so welcoming. We've just called for everything from a drinks outside in the summer, a few starters to share and full meals. The Sunday Lunch and Valentines Steaks nights were great and I love the fish pie.

Lovely food, big portions and nice atmosphere. Asked to sit near the fire as it can be cold, especially in the top seating area near the bar.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Plough for Sunday lunch, and what a pleasure that was. Plenty of excellent quality food, in a convivial atmosphere, served by both friendly and efficient staff. Looking forward to my next visit, to slowly work my way through the menu!! Well done to The Plough and the team.

Lovely country pub with a lovely log burner, ideal for winter days. The food was great & so was the service. Not ideal if you have mobility issues as the pub is on 5 levels with steps between each. The pub suffered a power outage halfway through our meal which spoiled it a little.

Met a work colleague for lunch as a mid way between the 2 location. Fantastic service and attention to detail. The Barman made us feel welcome and kept checking to see if we needed anything without being to pushy.

We went for the first time on Steak night, safe to say it was without doubt the best steak we all have ever had. The halloumi fries where top notch, chips where tasty and even made me, fresh from scratch burger sauce free of charge. Staff were all super attentive and really lovely and helpful, couldn’t fault them. This place is a real gem and absolutely lovely inside! Only down side if you struggle mobility wise, isn’t the easiest to get into from the car park on a dark wet night but it was worth it. Will definitely be returning again soon, we had a wonderful time and was all truly full and happy!

Great place, staff are the friendliest around and the food is way too good to be called a cafe. We go here all the time and it's easy to park, free too and the venue itself is a lot more exclusive than your local cafe. Prices are really good considering the surroundings and National Trust could learn a lot from pricing and choice, not to mention customer service!! Thank you, great job Renishaw, we will be back.

Nice atmosphere in the pub. Staff very attentive and friendly. Food all came out as ordered and was delicious. Elderly mum was a little cold, but other than that we enjoyed a very pleasant evening and will definitely be going back.

What a lovely place to visit, everything was perfect. Lovely local cafe, with very friendly staff, great food and a wonderful atmosphere. We sat inside on this occasion at table 31 and had delicious fish and chips, very tasty and freshly cooked. We had pre booked our table, which was all ready on arrival. We visited the gardens as well and the staff at the visitor centre were all very welcoming and friendly . Later we had tea and cake in the Cafe courtyard, it was perfect sun shining. Perfect day out, enjoyed by us all.
