The Somerset is a friendly pub and has a no smoking policy in the lounge where we eat all throughout the day so it makes a lunch time relaxing and the food is really good value, we use it on a regular basis.

Somerset House, The – Chesterfieldme and my husband have been regulars at the welbeck inn for the past 8 years and during this time the price of the main meals have always been £2.99 outstanding value.when ever we go to chesterfield we eat there we think its the cheapest & great value & nothing is to much trouble, try it for yourself & see
The Welbeck Inn – ChesterfieldHaving eaten at the Harwick Inn on many occasions the food is always very good and the staff very obliging. I would highly recommend this at a restaurant
Hardwick Inn – ChesterfieldTraditional Pub Food of a high quality at excellent prices. The Welbeck has been consistently good for many years and long may it continue. When my Wife and I visit Chesterfield, we always make a visit for lunch at this iconic Pub. I give it my strongest recommendation.
The Welbeck Inn – ChesterfieldSome of the best pub food I know! Very polite and helpful staff, lovely setting.
Smithy Pond Pub – ChesterfieldNice pub, nice staff, good for football lovers, great food.
Donkey Derby, The – ChesterfieldGreat staff, great cocktails, an comfy too!
Chandlers – ChesterfieldThe Hosts, Chris and Kim are most welcoming, the staff attentive. Exceptional value. THE BEST Cantonese Restaurant for miles around.
Oriental Pearl, The – ChesterfieldGreat staff. Refreshing beers and a great variety and choice of meals. Met the landlord, great bloke and helpful when giving directions to local locations.
Lock Keeper Brewers Fayre – ChesterfieldI have now been to Santiago's on several occasions The food has always been good, with live music and friendly staff I will go again
Santiago Restaurant – ChesterfieldVery comfortable place to eat, great views over valley North of Chesterfield
Gate Inn – ChesterfieldWith Indian food being one of my favourite cuisines, I have eaten in many restaurants throughout the uk. I have to say that none have come close to the outstanding quality of the food within this restaurant. There is a wide variety of dishes to try, and the friendly service you receive adds to the experience. Myself and my family have had well over 100 dishes either in takeaway form or in the restaurant, and have never had a bad meal. We live quite a few miles from the restaurant, but always order takeaways from there, as its worth the hassle of the drive for the quality of food. So if your next dining out experience is going to be Indian, get yourself down to the Star Of Sall.
Star of Sall, The – Chesterfieldi felt really comfortable, it was very enjoyable and the food is great
Elm Tree Inn, The – Chesterfieldmy meal's what was ordered was very good would tell family and friends to go eat there will be going back my self
Hollingwood, The – ChesterfieldThe food was plentiful and real value for money. The Somerset is a really nice pub with good ale, well worth a visit.
Somerset House, The – ChesterfieldThe service was amazing and although the girl on the bar was very busy with other customers and taking food out, she was very professional and friendly and we didn? feel as if our service was at all rushed. We now eat there as often as we can. The menu is a little pricey for town centre but as the food is all home-made and the chips are just out of this world, we don't mind the extra cost in the slightest!!
Barley Mow, The – ChesterfieldWe found all the staff very helpful and polite, the food was of first class standards and I would return to try their other dishes may be the fish night or steak night that sounds very tempting mmmmmmmmmm
