What a beautiful location! Came here for a "special occasion" dinner but understand they do weddings too which would be fantastic I'm sure. Food was delicious and had a good wine list, staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was quiet as mid-week but imagine it gets busy at weekends. They do cream teas and bar lunches-sandwiches/soup etc during the day but that is all but you can pop down just for a drink in the bar area if you want which was good. An excellent meal-would thoroughly recommend.

We went to Chloe's for the first time after reading reviews here and elsewhere and I think we've found a real gem. Excellent food paired with a concise, well-chosen wine list and great atmosphere really made a special-occasion meal. We will be back.

Spoilt for choice this hidden gem in StMarychurch. Hazel is very welcoming. Local produce superbly served in a bistro setting. Cosy and intimate setting. Good choice of wines not overpriced.

We are regular visitors and have never had a poor meal yet. Good management, good staff, good food. If you know of any better, let me know where

Lovely little find!

The Lansdowne is a very nice place to have a social drink. Everyone is very friendly there and there is a terrific karaoke on Saturday night enjoy a nice 3 course meal at the Lansdowne inn

A lovely meal, a set 3 course for about £15 all freshly cooked, the steak was to die for. not a roast dinner/carvery in sight, thank goodness. Try the salmon in a lime sauce, beautiful. The owner was very friendly and made us feel really welcome. a lovely old place beams etc. lovely.

This restaurant is run by a couple with vast previous experience in the business. The lady, who I understand hails from Singapore, does the cooking and produces superb meals. The starters (typically £3.95) are varied and delicious. The main courses (typically £8.95) are mainly served with rice and super steamed vegetables. The wine list is excellent. It's a small place that is very busy at weekends, so book in advance. We've been there three times and it's certainly our favourite in this area.

We have visited several times now, as we are moving into the area, We feel very lucky to have such a lovely friendly place to eat so near to our new home.

Found this bistro by accident when visiting nearby University.. Over a few days we enjoyed really fresh shellfish and local fish, simply cooked with brilliant sauces. The wines at Bistro One are excellent with stuff from districts I'd never heard of! Like the atmosphere including the jazz. Breath of fresh air on our short visit to Plymouth.

We had a lovely meal.....their curries are superb, Sunday Lunches are good value too, plenty on a plate & well presented.

Excellent food and great beer, the only complaint would be the time between the starter and the main, didn? really have time to finish chewing on the starter before the main came.

My wife had a very nice evening here last year, great atmosphere on a Wednesday, very busy, great food - couldn? fault it
