ASK – ExeterDiscovered Harry's here on Sugarvine, and was impressed by the positive reviews, so decided to try it with a couple of friends. Was back within the next week with my partner who was also extremely delighted by the quality of the food, being a chef himself. The ambience and overall experience offered at Harry's is probably the best you will find in Exeter. Our favourite restaurant so far!!
Harrys Restaurant – ExeterTook my girlfriend here before a night out, the service was good but a little slow, perhaps our own fault for not booking. The food was better than I expected after hearing it was a UK chain restaurant. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the outside garden in the middle of a heat wave was the perfect place to have your evening meal. Not the best place to eat in Exeter, but I will be going back.
Zizzi – ExeterVisited La Rosina's very late at night, and found we were the last and only people being served at the time, yet the staff remained (outwardly) friendly and very polite. The food was very good, but nothing outstanding - what you would expect from an Italian restaurant, however there were some very appealing specials also available when we visited. Overall, a nice restaurant.
La Rosina Trattoria – SidmouthI had an amazing time at this restaurant, I am a vegan so called before hand to check what I could eat, instead of the usual huff I am greeted with the person who answered the phone got the chef who patiently went through the menu with me. The remembered on the night as well and made sure that not even any dips that usually came with dishes had dairy in them. I was so impressed!!!!

Best sweet I have eaten in a long time and the 5 course £32 deal is a good one. Took a client who regularly eats in the best restaurants nationwide and it impressed him!
Quay 33 – PlymouthThe Best Indian in Torquay if not the whole of Devon. We had a mix of different dishes and all were fantastic I had the Lamb Pasander which was outstanding probably the best I have ever had. I cant think of a better restaurant. The service was great even though it was completely full, there was loads of people waiting for a table at the bar and I can understand why. Great food great service cant recommend it enough.
Mahabharat Balti House – TorquayAs a local who has frequented this pub several times over the years, I'm now glad to say that it consistently serves up very good pub food, including the largest fish and chips ever! No pretences, no fancy ambience, just a friendly local that does good pub food.

Old Fire House The – ExeterMy partner and I always make a special effort to go to the black horse inn every time we go on holiday to Devon infact we feel our holiday isn't complete without our annual visit here. Good home cooking at good prices. We especially enjoy it when the open fire is roaring as we always visit in November.
Black Horse Inn – TorringtonI love this place. The food is great, you get big portions at decent prices, fantastic views and a really chilled out atmosphere. Infact my partner proposed to me here last year so it holds special memories for us. We will be back in November to celebrate with one of their great burgers!!!
Red Barn – WoolacombeI've just had my 30th birthday celebration here and I'd say it was one of my best!! Definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Devon, excellent staff and a friendly atmosphere. I have been to many restaurants in the area and this place truly meets all expectations. The food was outstanding, full of flavour and very tasty! They have just launched a buffet night on Mondays and the quality of food isn't skipped on either. I recommend this place to anyone.
