Great food and fantastic service. Price deals mid-week and early evening. Neil's is comfortably smart but the ambience is sometimes just a little flat - some more carefully chosen music would help!

This was the first time we have eaten at the Old Market since the new owners have taken over. WOW what a change. The restaurant has now been full refurbished, and the chef is first class. The food and choice was second to none, and the dessert, oh the desserts are to die for.

This is a tiny, family run restaurant, a little quirky but well loved by locals. It's unlicensed but The Radway Pub (next door but one) will sell you a beer and let you take the glass back later :)

Great little country pub, nicely tucked away with great countryside views and ample car parking facilities. Lovely home cooked food at a great price, try the specials boards for bargains! Sweets are amazing especially banoffee pie. Yum!

Fantastic local pub tucked away in a picturesque village 10 miles from Exeter. Serving a range of dishes using local ingredients, great real ales, ciders and good value wines. Relaxed eating in the bar - you usually need to book ahead for Sunday lunch.

We only go out to eat at the Flintlock. We have tried other local restaurants but this place is the best. One gets a warm welcome, all home cooked food is of a very high standard and reasonably priced. It is popular so book well in advance in order not to be disappointed.

this pub is situated only a small stroll from the main beach in torquay. it is attractive from the outside and well lit up in the evening. the staff were very friendly, which is rare these days. the service was quick and efficient. there was a good selection of drinks and the food was superb. the hygiene in the pub was of a very high standard and the atmosphere was very warm and cosy. we spoke briefly to the manageress and she was lovely and very welcoming to myself and my family. i would go out of my way to return to this pub. it truly is a gem! 10/10

I had a superb fresh crab, advised all fish freshly sourced from beer, with an excellent Chablis. Picturesque thatched 15th century inn.

Myself and my family went to the Highweek village inn on the 4/11/06 for the first time and we were very surprised it was a nice quiet place where families and children were made every welcome.

Excellent! Loved it. What a great place, unlike anything else in Plymouth. Service was great, food was fab. We left feeling very happy and satisfied, but not so full we had to roll out the door! Which was perfect. Really good evening.

We love this place the service is excellent the food is always carefully prepared and delicious. They go out of their way for you. The choice of drinks are brilliant to !!

Had a lovely meal here, the fish was perfect. I will be back and highly recommend it.
