Waterbiscuit

I visited here the other night with a girlfriend for the first time - the service was excellent, and waitress sat down with and an explained all the dishes and made recommendations. The garlic spicy potatoes are fantastic, as is the lamb tagine. Very atmospheric with some beautiful lamps and decoration. Definitely planning on going again, a new favourite!

Classic greasy spoon, open all night, would recommend the breakfast brunch. Have been here many times, always keen to go again, and covet most of the street signs!

An excellent meal was had by me and my girlfriend, many many dishes to try out, in fact i'm just about to book our table for a meal tonight! Hope they have a table spare!!!

Poopdeck – Brixham

Have been here twice for lunch and cannot recommend it enough. We all had the three course lunchtime special for 12.99 (i think) and the standard of food and service compared with places I've visited in Plymouth that we've paid 100 for two of us. Portions might be a little small if you were ravenous but perfect for lunch. Staff were fantastic - never had to ask who had ordered what and we never felt rushed. I ate here about three years ago before the refurb - you wouldn't believe it was the same building.

Rose And Crown – Plymouth

Lovely location but quite honestly looking a little tired now! It was all ok but nothing really special

We were pleasantly surprised to come across The Mason's Arms in Knowstone over Easter. We were staying in nearby South Molton and the place was recommended to us. What a great meal we had! The food is excellent and so it should be as, I discovered, the owner is one of the country's top chefs with a pedigree as long as your arm. His wife does front of house and is charming. The choice on the menu is small, as is the dining room, but it is all fresh, local produce prepared to order. I had delicious scallops with vanilla to start and my wife a cracking apple pudding, which sounds mundane, but is very clever indeed. Nice selection of wines to go with it all, as well as a very welcoming bar. Top rate and at local prices too. We'll be back.

It's all relative and although this place is pricier than some other restaurants you really do get what you pay for. I can't recommend it highly enough everything about this place was fabulous - if you want somewhere truly wonderful for that special occasion visit this place!

Tanners Restaurant – Plymouth

Prezzo offers great food at surprisingly low prices. The ambience is cozy, comfortable, and well-suited for conversation. The service at Prezzo is refreshingly attentive and friendly without being pushy.

This is a great night out! The service was brilliant and we were made to feel very welcome. The food was fantastic and I'd recommend anyone willing to try a new eating experience go there!

A very enjoyable meal, excellent American portions, staff are brilliant, very friendly and happy . The restaurant is the obvious place to go car spotting while we were there we saw a lot of very interesting cars in the car park, BRILLIANT

this is the tanner brothers new place; the food was really good, and we had high expectations. The service was annoying - not bad, just a bit too chatty and over-attentive for so-called informal dining... I like to pour my own wine. Worst of all: BLACK NYLON NAPKINS - WHY? We'd go back though, there's nowhere else like this in Plymouth.

Barbican Kitchen – Plymouth
Bart

Had a lovely meal here, its a bit whacky inside but great for North Devon, a must visit restaurant. You can eat at good value downstairs or opt for the upstairs dining room and a choice of three menus. We had scallops and fillet steak both courses were brilliantly cooked. Good wine list also

The Quay – Ilfracombe
Bart

Lovely Mediterranean feel to this restaurant, the staff were friendly and chatty, we ate from an interesting menu and really enjoyed the food and wine. Great value with a great view.

Boardwalk The – Woolacombe

Probably the best meal out, in terms of atmosphere and overall enjoyment, that i've ever had outside of London.

Spice Bazaar

Spice Bazaar – Newton Abbot
