The best around by far, great fish. Our most recent visit was preceded by a circular walk starting at the pub followed by a great lunch. Not to be missed

Wow! Everything you want fish and chips to be. Normally you're disappointed, but not here. I'd like a bit more choice of different fish and less of the burgers, but what we did have was perfect.

Squires Fish Restaurant – Braunton

Lives up to its reputation as one of THE places to eat in north Devon - stunning building AND great tapas-style bar food AND sussed staff. Can? wait to go back and eat in the restaurant

I love cafe rouge Plymouth, always welcomed - staff chatty, informative but never intrusive, loos ok (girls understand this!) food always very good. Desserts are heavenly, would recommend trying here, possible pricey, but you get what you pay for

Cafe Rouge – Plymouth

The best vegetarian restaurant that I have been to in the South West. Food is definitely authentic when compared to the other restaurants.

Veggie Perrins – Plymouth

Living with a Vegetarian can be a nightmare, but even I have a enjoyed everything on offer at this restaurant. Normally, a devoted Chinese food fan, I often stray to Veggie Perrins for a wonderful second love. The ethics of the place would shame Ghandi too. Recommendation: Best try it.

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Bistro one as winners of a meal for two. The food was fantastic. The hosts made us feel very welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. I would definitely dine there again. The fact that they also cater for people with special dietary needs is great. Thanks to you both for a wonderful evening!

Having travelled all over Asia for business and a lover of asian cuisine, I was amazed to find that I could relive the moments at this fine restaurant. The food is magnificent and each customer is made to feel like a king!

Lovely food, great service. A very friendly, local pub atmosphere. Dog friendly and extremely welcoming to all. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Not too difficult to find - well signposted from Bickleigh, Cullompton. Well worth it when you get there. Plenty of parking, nice outside area.

We love this place!!! been holidaying in Totnes/Dittisham for the last 3 years and always make The Hunters Lodge our first point of call. Since it's new owners Gill and John have moved in the pub has gone from a good local pub to a really great drinking and eating establishment. The food is top class and the atmosphere superb.... if you're in the area give it a shot

After hearing constant rave reviews about the Poopdeck restaurant I decided it was time to check out what all the fuss was about. I was not disappointed. The food was superb, the freshest, tastiest seafood I have ever tasted. I don? understand how the owners can make any money on the portions, my partner had the seafood platter (an absolute must if you like shellfish) it was absolutely HUGE! Extremely friendly atmosphere, staff very attentive and polite. 5* recommendation!!

A real hidden treasure. I found the staff very friendly, the ales top notch and the food was in a class of it's own. I will certainly be visiting again and i recommend you do the same!!

We ate here today and I have to say the food was excellent. Certainly as good as "The New Angel" at Dartmouth, - if not better. The ambience was good and the service friendly and attentive. The only issue I have is that they had a spacious "Loo" which is accessible for people in wheelchairs, but no ramp to get there, which is a real shame. It wasn't cheap, but still good for the quality. We could have gone for a "Light lunch" which was a main course and pudding for £14.95-excellent value. The problem was all the dishes were so tempting we had to try out as much as possible! I have to say I'll be recommending this restaurant to all my friends and colleagues. We will definitely be returning.

The beaver inn Appledore has a beautiful view from the restaurant which makes this dining venue that little bit more special Saturday nights they have entertainment and every month they hold the jazz club to some very impressive jazz artists some world renowned! So if you are ever in North Devon do yourself a favour and stop off at the beaver inn Appledore you'll not go wrong!!!

Our first experience at Jelly Bellies was a Sunday lunch and what a Sunday lunch it was. The service was absolutely faultless, the ambience and surroundings, we felt, were quite cosmopolitan and the food was absolutely delicious and imaginative. We will most certainly be re-visiting and this time in an evening.
