We love treating ourselves to a meal at Maritimo as the food is always amazing, the views stunning and service great. A wonderful place to relax and escape normal life for a little while.

I visited maritimo today with 3 friends,my friends had not visited before,we had a delightful lunch,the food was freshly cooked,the staff were lovely,very friendly atmosphere.The view was a bonus,we will definitely be returning

Amazing food and excellent wine. Not cheap but certainly value for money. Beautiful fresh ceviche and paella, and the aubergines we're out of this world. Will be back and telling all my visitors about it, with the hope that they go too.

My wife and I went for an anniversary meal. First time at Maiden Arch , the welcome was warm and friendly, the table was good and seats comfortable. The food was exceptional every course looked beautiful and was full of great flavours. Particularly liked the prawn bisque and the chocolate desert, both full of rich lovely flavours. The service was attentive and appropriate. The cost was high by North Devon standards but definitely the best meal we’ve had in the last 10 years

Have been to Maritimo three times in the last two weeks, with friends, my Bookclub and with my grandchildren. Stunning location, a warm welcome, excellent service and delicious food. What more could I want?

Returning after a few years, we were really impressed with the quality and variety of the tapas-focused menu. The setting, with optional outdoor seating and views across Plymouth Sound, is as impressive as ever. It’s possibly time for a makeover but we’d come back for the calamari alone!

Great food and fantastic service, the menu was exciting and the ingredients fresh. It was let down by its atmosphere and lack of attention to detail. The music was instrumental guitar solos, with lowlights including “this is how you remind me”, and “you’ve got a friend in me”. In 2023 there is no need to put your diners through this when Spotify exists. The flowers on the table were plastic and the dining room didn’t feel like a place where you would be spending north of £100pp. If the dining room had a lick of paint, some better music and a few nice flowers it would have lifted it hugely.

We had a lovely tapas meal at Maratimo. Friendly and helpful staff, great menu choices and lovely food. A perfect sunny day meant dining on the terrace topped it off perfectly.

A very pleasant birthday lunch. Lovely outlook & scenery . Good food & choices Just a little shame that despite informing on booking it was for a birthday, no mention was made of it at all.

We have been visiting Plymouth for a few years on a regular basis and have never found this little gem of a traditional tapas restaurant. The view from the sun terrace is quite spectacular. We enjoyed a charcuterie platter for two and a bottle of spanish wine. The ambience was great and the staff efficient and friendly. We will definitely be booking a table on our next visit to Plymouth in July
