Had a fantastic time visiting here for the first time. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and was so warm and inviting. We absolutely loved the Truffle & Cheese arincini and the ox cheek nuggets. The fish stew was full of various fish & seafood and the sauce was packed with flavour. Can’t wait to be back!!

Excellent food and service, no complaints whatsoever. The only drawback was that we were placed next to a large table of approximately 12 people with children that were quite badly behaved and without much parental control. As a result it was necessary for us to change tables to enjoy our sweet. Not your problem I appreciate but, as there were several other free tables in different parts of your venue, this perhaps could have been considered as we were not the only group in our section to also request a move.

Very friendly staff and very accommodating for my various food intolerances, cooked things in oil rather than butter so that I could eat them. It is quite a small room so if there is someone loud (as there was on another table) you hear EVERYTHING they say.

Lovely place overlooking the water. Service was great and food was lush. If you want to taste a multitude of different things and enjoy quality food in an idyllic environment then go. Great for that first date!

Fantastic food , great service and a fantastic location

Excellent food and great service, staff friendly and helpful. Currently one of the best places to eat out in the Seaton/Axmouth/Colyton area and much better than overpriced Lyme!

Great location, delicious food, excellent service!

The staff were friendly and helpful as they always have been when we have previously been there. As we had a later booking for lunch they had ran out of lamb so we went for beef and pork dishes. The veg was absolutely lovely but unfortunately the beef was slightly chewy and the pork quite fatty. Wouldn’t put us off going again though may choose an earlier time.

As ever a pleasant visit to Maratimo. Service was excellent Tapas as good as they always are. Wine good. Sangria would benefit from a shot of Brandy. Good value and good atmosphere overall. Amazing location.

The setting was idyllic, the service excellent and the dishes of a consistently exceptionally high quality. It was the perfect birthday lunch!

Very pleased with the quality of food, very tasty. Atmosphere was brilliant…particularly helped with the weather! Though a few more umbrellas would be preferable. Service was good, and we didn’t have to wait a long time for food once ordered even though it was busy. Definitely recommend a visit

Gorgeous food. Lovely, friendly staff who were doing their best, despite staff shortages. And what a treat to sit outside on one of the hottest evenings of the year (early September) and see Plymouth Sound transform from sunset to complete darkness. Thank you!
