Stumbled on this place by accident, and what a find! Cosy and friendly atmosphere with a mix of locals and visitors making a difference from the typical faux traditional food pub (no rakes, ladders or bikes on the wall). Food was imaginative (even the veggie option), hearty without being too much and well cooked. I shouldn't recommend it really as it can get busy enough already and i'd like to be able to get a table!

I came to Frankie & Benny's with my family on Tuesday 24th April it was my mums birthday and knew that they did surprise cakes with music and balloons. We ate off the main menu as it was around 7o'clock and had starters, mains then desserts. the starters were delicious served fast looked great, i think it was the manager who brought them over a young man who was very polite and funny, (my mum took a shine to him). the mains were delivered quickly after the starters were cleared by our waitress and again were fresh and looked great. our cake was delivered to the sound of happy birthday, dimmed lights and lots of clapping which was great to see as everyone joined in. i noticed it was quite busy and i must say all the staff were working so hard but it never made a difference to the service at all both managers were heavily involved and you don? see that much, i would like to thank all the staff working that evening as it was great!!!!

The food is well prepared - and ample amounts. Wonderful home made chips and a huge selection on the menu. The staff are very good and helpful.

This is one you must try, recently refurbished and to a very high standard. but the food is the reason why it is so busy. Fresh tasty and very reasonably priced. I had Thai spiced salmon with chilli jam and tempura battered onion rings and my partner had duck breast with bacon and fried potatoes and a redcurrant jus. mmm. Delicious. You must book even on a lunchtime.

Food absolutely outstanding, staff attentive and friendly, you wouldn't believe you were in Billingham. Highly recommended!

It was supreme.... The food was mouth watering, the service was incredible, the surroundings were breath taking, The best part was all of it but i especially liked the borge special for pudding!! Thanks Borge for making my 10th birthday one to remember!!

We visited the bay horse after reading the review in lifestyle magazine. and as it said in the book everything was amazing the food was cooked to perfection very good wine list and pleasant staff all in all a very good experience.

The steaks are fantastic. Apparently lovingly matured by Chris Kattou personally (21 days matured). The fish is superb, they make their own tarter sauce( no bought pap). You have to try the Steak & Kidney Pie on a lunch time, It is out of this world. there are 6 of us who eat there regularly prior to a Mowden Park Rugby match. You have to do It.

We went to Mohujos on Thursday 29th March thinking it was still the Tapas bar, we didnt know it had changed ownership, we tried it anyway and it was very nice, staff were really nice and friendly, my husband reckons the pasta (and chips) were the best he's ever had !!! Will definitely be going back !

I took a party of six up for a meal and was delighted with greeting that given on my arrival in the restaurant, we were well looked after and the food was mind blowing good i had the peppered fillet which was so tender very impressed was the view from the rest of the table as well. i learned that night the there is a bistro downstairs which we tried the next night and that was a great way of relaxing and a quick good feed was had. This was an excellent establishment that we will be going to again very soon i cannot wait!

I was one of the first people to eat here when it first opened and now it's a struggle trying to get a table even on a week night...enough said! Wonderful place!

We have eaten many times at the Fighting Cocks and have never been disappointed. The service is good with friendly staff and the quality of the food is fantastic. We would recommend booking a table as it can get very busy especially on a weekend.
