Black Horse Inn – DurhamI was very lucky to be part of this new restaurant's open evening on Wed 28th Feb and thought the atmosphere was great. The food was amazing and everything was just right. You actually forgot that you were in Billingham and felt like you were on holiday! I will definitely be back and hope this restaurant goes from strength to strength. Thank you.
Mohujos – BillinghamI was very surprised at the Emerson Arms. I live near the area and never considered going in. I am glad I did. I enjoyed excellent food, brilliant atmosphere. A real community pub!! Price very acceptable for the area. The best bit is the beer garden situated right next to the River Tees, beautiful landscape. Very relaxing!
Emerson Arms – DarlingtonClean and tidy. Not much atmosphere. Bit too pricey otherwise ok.
Bay Horse Inn – DarlingtonWould highly recommend to all to give Chester Moor Inn a go. I travel to Newcastle from Scotland every weekend and always try and get a table at the inn. You have to be quick as it is always busy - not surprised as the food is excellent. Have never been disappointed, you are spoilt for choice and the food is always fresh and piping hot! It gets a "gold star" from me every time.
The Chester Moor Inn – Chester-le-StreetSUPERB!
Ash Tree The – SpennymoorThe main plaice is the best food business in town!
Main Plaice The – DarlingtonThe food is home cooked, plentiful and tasty. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Very good for a cheap night out.
Foresters Arms – DarlingtonI would recommend the spotted cow to anyone who likes fine food it is not expensive, its friendly, the staff are very pleasant, and the inside is very relaxing with nice decor. Summary. set in a small village with lovely greens i would recommend this place to everyone.
Spotted Cow Inn – HartlepoolThe restaurant is lovely and i will be back
Otter and Fish Inn The – DarlingtonGreat menu, plenty to choose from, they have loads of dishes from around the world to tempt you with. Food is always fresh, portions are more than plentiful. Prices are above average but you get what you pay for at the end of the day. Do visit, its a must.
Bridge Inn – DarlingtonFantastic meal and good beer
Oak Tree Inn – Stanleya little gem right on our doorstep very friendly host highly recommended
Baydale Beck Inn – Darlingtona very enjoyable meal well presented in nice comfortable surroundings
Seaton Lane Inn – SeahamBeautiful cooked pub food, well presented. Huge portions and not too pricey on the pocket. I can highly recommend the mixed grill, so large the chips come on a separate plate! Desserts like you were back at school, brilliant value!
Colliery The – CrookHad a lovely meal and drink here. The menu has all the usual bar meal essentials plus the presentation and service were very good. Could only get a seat in smoking area on a busy Saturday night so looking forward to new non-smoking in public places rule.
Shuttle and Loom The – Darlingtonthe service was excellent and the food was quick and on time, very good i will be going back there again soon, the waitresses were also very polite
Beefeater Grill – DarlingtonI really liked the food here, there is plenty to choose from to suit all tastes. It's not very expensive and sometimes there is a lunch menu on at a cheaper price for set dishes but they only put it on when its not busy which isn? very fair. Cocktails were a treat and the bar staff are trained well on how to make them. Overall a nice experience but I don't think I?e been there when there hasn't been a birthday song!
