I took a party of six up for a meal and was delighted with greeting that given on my arrival in the restaurant, we were well looked after and the food was mind blowing good i had the peppered fillet which was so tender very impressed was the view from the rest of the table as well. i learned that night the there is a bistro downstairs which we tried the next night and that was a great way of relaxing and a quick good feed was had. This was an excellent establishment that we will be going to again very soon i cannot wait!

I was one of the first people to eat here when it first opened and now it's a struggle trying to get a table even on a week night...enough said! Wonderful place!

We have eaten many times at the Fighting Cocks and have never been disappointed. The service is good with friendly staff and the quality of the food is fantastic. We would recommend booking a table as it can get very busy especially on a weekend.

The "Blackboard Special" meal was okay.The vegetable choice was, to say the least, poor.Only two veg, carrots and peas, I ask you!!!. A competitor approx 4 mile away same price five veg, That!s value for money.We thought we would give the Hilltop a try after been told excellent, but we were very disappointed when we compare with the other place.

Enjoyed our meal so much have booked for Sunday lunch next week. I Hope the standard remains the same

this pub is cheap yet clean warm and welcoming with a wide range of meals of quality food at low cost prices. the drinks a served well the staff are friendly and happy. the pub its self is alive at the weekends with music yet having two rooms it caters for all tastes

I had a wonderful Sunday dinner at the Blackhorse inn. The price was very reasonable and the staff were very good

I was very lucky to be part of this new restaurant's open evening on Wed 28th Feb and thought the atmosphere was great. The food was amazing and everything was just right. You actually forgot that you were in Billingham and felt like you were on holiday! I will definitely be back and hope this restaurant goes from strength to strength. Thank you.

I was very surprised at the Emerson Arms. I live near the area and never considered going in. I am glad I did. I enjoyed excellent food, brilliant atmosphere. A real community pub!! Price very acceptable for the area. The best bit is the beer garden situated right next to the River Tees, beautiful landscape. Very relaxing!

Clean and tidy. Not much atmosphere. Bit too pricey otherwise ok.

Would highly recommend to all to give Chester Moor Inn a go. I travel to Newcastle from Scotland every weekend and always try and get a table at the inn. You have to be quick as it is always busy - not surprised as the food is excellent. Have never been disappointed, you are spoilt for choice and the food is always fresh and piping hot! It gets a "gold star" from me every time.

The main plaice is the best food business in town!

The food is home cooked, plentiful and tasty. The service is good and the staff are friendly. Very good for a cheap night out.

I would recommend the spotted cow to anyone who likes fine food it is not expensive, its friendly, the staff are very pleasant, and the inside is very relaxing with nice decor. Summary. set in a small village with lovely greens i would recommend this place to everyone.

Great menu, plenty to choose from, they have loads of dishes from around the world to tempt you with. Food is always fresh, portions are more than plentiful. Prices are above average but you get what you pay for at the end of the day. Do visit, its a must.

Fantastic meal and good beer
