We had a lovely meal last night. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We were unable to get a taxi home and our waitress Katie who is lovely offered to drive us home! How kind!

We took my dad to celebrate, we absolutely loved the large variety of food even though i couldn’t eat all of them. We loved the ambiance and the service. I’d highly recommend

Visited with 2 adults and 3 children. Food was just about warm some cold! We made supervisor aware who offered my husband a drink for the inconvenience. We asked how often the temperature on the food was tested, no direct answer! Asked her what temperature the food should be she didn't know! We asked for a refund which we were given as didn't want to stay and risk eating anymore. Supervisor stated she would let the kitchen know when we had left about the situation. Never will return again! All had diarrhea the next day. Reported to food standards.

Excellent, as always. Promptly seated outside. Drinks and then food arrived within acceptable time frame. Only issue, shortage of an ingredient for one of the Mocktails but alternative was delicious.

Very pleasant mid week lunch with plenty of choice. Food was delicious and well presented. Waiting staff very helpful. Unfortunately , it was the hottest day of the year and we couldn't manage a pudding! But we will be back! ,

We came for the first time for my daughter’s 6th birthday for dinner. We added a note to the booking that it was her birthday and the restaurant put in extra effort to make it special for her. They gave us the best booth, a large ‘happy birthday’ plaque and a fountain sparkler in her dessert. The service was great. Really friendly staff and really efficient. Food was really tasty and very generous portions. My daughter loved that there was a toy box for her to explore in and she loved playing on Elvis’ guitar! Will definitely return.

Lovely Sunday lunch - all the courses were delicious and beautifully presented. Servers were great- very friendly and attentive. It’s a gorgeous pub - we’ve had lunch outside before but first time a proper family meal and we will definitely do that again.

Always a pleasure to dine at The Barn . Fresh ingredients thoughtfully put together to provide a taste sensation. I had their salad option which was delicious and filling . Staff helpful and friendly.

We had a really delicious meal at the ship with wonderful service... such a lovely pub with a warm welcome and 5 star service!!!

We arrived for lunch and staff were lovely. The meal was outstanding. Perhaps lacking in choice for vegetarians and on the day we came there was no choice for a vegan diner for a main course. It wasn’t clear on the day menu which salads were vegan. We could have asked so it’s not a problem just a little feedback to make an amazing place even better if that’s possible. I visited the Barn garden centre cafe recently and was so impressed. The food was absolutely delicious with an excellent range to choose from. The place itself has such a lovely atmosphere – really good vibes and a relaxing setting to enjoy a meal or coffee. Highly recommended if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful with great food and friendly service.

Went here for lunch, one sandwich on the menu for kids, cheese on toast £12 - we looked at the menu and left

Very impressed with the experience. We were treated politely and not rushed, and looked after very well at the table. We had a choice of table, and noticed that everywhere was clean and well presented. However I did feel that the menu was a bit on the pricey side for what was actually on the plates.
