Was a little disappointed that the food I ordered was out of stock Then ordered an Irish coffee but no caramel toppings only ginger Then I ordered hot chocolate with whipped cream and flake But no whipped cream and flake but apart from that fine my partner struggles to get chilli con carne in most pubs so was made up he could get it

White Lion at Alvanley – FrodshamOn arrival the atmosphere felt flat, dirty glasses and bland cold overpriced food, the whole experience lacked care, attention to detail and attentiveness the staff hardly smiled, I think they've given up, especially the manager (well I presume) she was the manager? Shame really as the location is amazing next to the lake. A little love, using fresh ingredients and attention to detail and this establishment could be a real gem.

Lovely decor, great service and we sent our compliments to the Chef because our Meal was perfect. Lovely crispy roast potatoes. We think this was one of the best sunday lunches we have had from anywhere.

Food and Service was poor the cheese pie was burnt underneath black scampi had a horrible taste the gammon was fatty and undercooked not impressed at all . Such a lovely location and pub shame the food and service is not as it was .
