We visited Fifty Four yesterday after it was recommended by our host at the B&B we are staying at. The food and service was excellent and we would definitely return. The pasta and dough balls were fresh and delicious!

Royal Oak Hotel – GarstangArrived 15 minutes early but was greeted warmly by Andrew and shown to my seat to wait for my friend ! I had booked it for her special birthday! The service and food was excellent and the food explained to us ! Had a lovely glass of Prosecco and copious cups of tea & coffee ! All the while in the lovely surroundings of lytham hall ! Would definitely recommend and come again!

For a smokehouse the menu seemed a little bit burger top heavy, not many steaks on offer, ribs full rack or half , a chicken and salmon dish, brisket dish and a few hot dogs " dogs" that's basically it..apart from the 7 burger choices, the starters also seemed to have very little options choices. However food was well cooked and tasted nice. Due to the drop in outside temperature, the restaurant seemed cold inside and we kept our coats on to eat. Will I go back unfortunately no, it's expensive and a bit of a let down after reading positive reviews.

I cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness and compassion. Not great on her legs but they looked after her beautifully and nothing was too much trouble. The food was fantastic. I would certainly recommend the fish and chips, the pork medallions and the sticky chicken burger. The three scoop milkshake was delicious! We had great conversation/banter with our waitress and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Thank you
