Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesThis is the second time I have been now for the Sunday buffet, I have to say the food quality is great, lots to choose from. Considering you get as much buffet food as want, a fresh naan, ice cream and tea or coffee, the price is fantastic. I would recommend the restaurant to anyone who enjoys a curry. The service is good too, with helpful, happy staff. See you again soon!
Buraq – KirkhamWe visited for the first time on Sunday - lovely buffet, good selection with starter items, dips, curry/side/rice and the naan provided was lovely. Great value. Definitely plan to return!
Buraq – KirkhamA group of 6 ladies visited on Friday 24th June to a friendly reception and were shown to our table in the restaurant area. Good food, good service, good choices, great desserts, polite and friendly staff. This was our second visit and we would definitely visit again. Can recommend cheese pie and the steak was lovely too. (Even better when we had 2 for £23)
The Clifton Arms At Warton – FreckletonLittle disappointed for our first visit. First impressions of front of restaurant was good. Staff were very polite. Having been seated at back of restaurant we actually found it hard to read the menus due to very dim, poor lighting. Dough ball starters and garlic bread were good and generous. We then ordered penne arribiata, pasta and meatballs and our Little boy fish fingers. Both our pasta was overcooked and was falling apart. The sauce was red pasta sauce but lacking any Italian herbs flavour. Feels like its slopped on all pasta dishes and the chef doesn't check what it tastes like. Fish fingers and chips cooked well but there was no side like a pot of peas. Having left we both felt we'd been rushed and the restaurant was lacking a nice atmosphere. Good if you want a quick not very tasty meal.
Re Italiani – BlackpoolDelicious food as always . Friendly and good service. Thank you for having us. We will see you next summer.
Fifty Four – Lytham St. AnnesWe stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and had dinner both nights. We couldn't have asked for more! The staff were so polite, friendly and helpful. Happy to give us tables as requested. Knowledgeable about the menu. Service was prompt, flexible and attentive also. The food was very high quality, good choice and the price was very very competitive. Much much better than the hilton's we've stayed in on the last Please keep doing what you're doing, we can't wait to come back!!
Coast Brasserie @ The Glendower Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaEntered a very dark and, in my opinion, depressing 'warehouse' environment! Waitress service very professional and attentive without being intrusive. Not at all impressed with the food. Garlic bread was like a crispbread and lacking in flavour. Garlic mushrooms were rubbery and difficult to cut never mind chew! The tomato puree/paste which was over-generoursly incorporated into the mushrooms, lasagne and pizza dishes was extremely tart and acidic, completely overwhelming any other flavour. In summary, very disappointed having enjoyed many meals in this restaurant under the previous owners, so will not be returning.
Re Italiani – BlackpoolWe have been meaning to come here for ages and Sunday was the day. Very friendly welcome and attentive service. Good choices from the menu and the food was fantastic and nice house red was good value. We will definitely be back soon to try different delights from the menu.
Italio – BlackpoolPoor service and poor quality food, couldn’t even eat our main courses, we will definitely not revisit this restaurant which is a shame as we had looked forward to the reopening.
Re Italiani – BlackpoolExcellent as always. For us no other Italian can compare, the service is always friendly and the staff make sure everything is OK for you. Food always amazing. Great food for kids as well. Recommend to anyone.
Italio – BlackpoolFantastic food and a lovely atmosphere.
Bangkok Thai – LythamI came with my partner and father for fathers day lunch and had a fantastic meal. The food was amazing, great quality, flavour and good value for money. All of the staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again.
Pipers – GarstangWe visited on Father’s Day at lunch time. Staff were all just lovely, attentive without being intrusive. We asked for a quiet table and they obliged which was great. Whilst the food was lovely not sure my husband’s was as described………he ordered pan fried salmon with tiger prawns…….there was just one tiger prawn! My salmon pasta was great, really tasty. The tomato garlic bread was just perfect. We had understood that there was a free pint for Father’s Day, my husband had 2 pints and we were charged for both. The restaurant was really clean, no sticky tables here! We wouldn’t let this put us off returning.
