Always a lovely meal here at The Grand. Friendly service, nice vibe and good food. The menu changes every few months too which keeps things interesting although the fab steaks are always a banker.
Cafe Grand – Grand Hotel – St. Annes-On-SeaNot been for a while. Nice meal early doors on NYE. I had the duck and my partner the venison and we both enjoyed. Still a massive menu although perhaps has been pared down a little bit. They could get away with halving the number of dishes, easy. Service a little hit and miss but friendly enough.
Spago Lytham – LythamWe visited Gemma on New Year's Eve as a party of 7. We had booked for half past 8 and when we arrived the restaurant was full which is always a good sign. We were seated promptly and our drinks orders taken straight away whilst we perused the menu. We had poppadoms to start with a good selection of chutneys, a couple had starters which I pinched a bit of and both tasted lovely. We all ordered different mains, mine was a Padinna lamb which was absolutely beautiful and very generous portion. I also tasted a bit of everyone else's and they were all yummy. No one had room for dessert but we each received a complimentary drink after our meal. Thoroughly enjoyable evening and would highly recommend.
Gemma Indian Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaTried this place on Tuesday night which was amazing but then let down on Wednesday when I took my parents for lunch. Firstly tried to contact the restaurant to book a table but they don’t accept bookings over lunch and also no waitress service at lunch time and no tabs. Really disappointing as I usually like to be looked after and waited on when going out and paying for it. Having to keep getting up and going to the bar during my meal really ruined it for me. But will be back for dinner.
The Deacon – LythamReally nice bar, great menu and it's not an Italian! Love the interior design, the service was good too just what Lytham needs. Spago will suffer, it's cooler and much better value for money. I will definitely be back.
The Deacon – LythamAbsolutely amazing!!!! This restaurant is my new favourite place. The building is absolutely stunning, the food was really nice. The brisket Bon Bon’s are a must try!!!! And my partner said his pint was the best he’s ever had. We will deffo be regulars in there.

Gusto Restaurant and Bar Lytham – LythamThe Deacon looks amazing! real style, love the green wall colour and copper beer pipes that straddle the ceiling. Their conservatory area is a real winner too. My only issue is the lack of real ale only keg. For a real proper bar that's mistake and will stop it being a real regular for me and many friends. Would highly recommend this place especially if you not bothered about Real Ale.
The Deacon – Lytham11 of us enjoyed a lovely meal at Chu's in Lytham on Saturday. all the diners were happy with their food and the service was good too. The restaurant looks great too, very modern and unlike many other Chinese restaurants.
Chus – LythamFantastic takeaway Sunday dinner today. A full roast chicken for 2, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings , veg, stuffing and extras for my boy for only £20! Well worth saving on cooking!

Owd Nell’s Tavern – GarstangWent here for the first time on Saturday night. They managed to squeeze me and 5 of my mates in last minute which was very good of them. The food was superb, I had king prawns to start which were lovely and my main course was just as good. Great service, very attentive the fresh bread was a lovely addition too. A must visit place if you're ever in the area.
Anatolia – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent meal as usual at Portofinos. My mother and I both had beef Stroganoff and my son a very tasty ham pizza. All dishes very tasty. Service was good.
Portofino – LythamTiggis has now got the best set menu on the Fylde. Period. We went Friday and for £12.95 for two courses (in the evening!) you must have a choice of a dozen or so starters and a similar number of mains. And this wasn’t just cheaper dishes – the options ranged from pizza and pasta to proper fish and meat dishes. Great choice and Great value. We were mightily impressed.
Tiggis St Annes – St. Annes-On-SeaMy husband and I called at the red lion for a late dinner after Christmas shopping, to unwind and relax, and we sure did that. We met a new waitress, very lovely lady ,we had a laugh and joke. Oh yes! of cause our meal was up to the usually high standard that it is always, the meat very tender and plenty on our plates. Will see you all again SOON.
Red Lion Beefeater Restaurant and Pub – BisphamImpressed with the River Wyre pub. A big imposing building but comfortable and relaxing inside. Real fires make it and the subdued lighting makes it atmospheric. We enjoyed our choices, oven baked Camembert, ham hock, chicken pie washed down with a nice Rioja. After dinner we sat in the bar area and enjoyed some G&T's. A good night.
River Wyre Hotel – Poulton-Le-FyldeSandwiches great value for £1 what can you expect. Place could do with a good clean. The woman serving is very rude and has a massive chip on her shoulder. Her attitude stinks. Customer is always right.
