Lovely country style pub, beautifully decorated for Xmas. Service was very good. The majority of the food was very tasty, particularly the pigs in blanket starter, however my husband had the Sunday roast and he found it to be lacking in taste and was a bit disappointed. The fish and chips however were very good. Good sized portions.

Fantastic family afternoon tea held at The Glendower. We had a private room which accommodated 14, plenty of space for us all and for the kids to have fun without disturbing other guests. The afternoon tea was wonderful, warm scones, fresh sandwiches and a lovely choice of cakes and patisseries. Plenty of tea and coffee and the staff were really attentive with checking in on us but not over bearing. A really great afternoon tea experience for the whole family. Thanks to the team!

This out 3rd annual xmas visit. We have afternoon tea in the Library which is always of the best quality and the most attentive service and then visit the Hall to see what the new Xmas theme is. The volunteers should give themselves the biggest pat on the back as the displays are amazing. 100% book and start your Xmas off with a bang

Second time visiting this restaurant have moved into the area and wanted to support local business. The staff are lovely very attentive and pleasant. Food is delicious, brisket next level, my wife loving the mushrooms and texas toast and ribs. Food packed up on request (even some fries thrown in to keep the left over brisket from being lonely) All in all a great place, reasonably priced with a friendly team. Background music a little loud for our tastes but not something that would stop us returning!

Went for my daughters birthday and from start to finish the staff were brilliant. Came a little late and with an extra person service with a smile and even brought out ice cream and sang happy birthday to my daughter. Would definitely recommend and go again.

Everything was perfect. We were very well looked after indeed. We were with friends who had come up from Birmingham specially having visited the hall in June and they went back home saying that we needed to make the experience an annual event. Drinks. Amazing. Food. Amazing. Environment. Amazing. Live entertainment on a Friday evening (some bloke singing along to some backing tracks). Awful. Spoilt what was a lovely atmosphere before started. Toilets. Some kids had splayed sauce all over the gents. Annoying enough but not cleaned up thoroughly. So detracted from the nice evening.
