Great meal at Sapori last night. One of Blackpools best.
Sapori – BlackpoolWe have just arrived home form 'Three' after Christmas Day Lunch. 7 courses. Absolutely fantastic meal. What a great chef and wonderful staff. Strongly recommend.
Three Knott End – Knott End-On-SeaA lovely lunch in between Xmas shopping. A jacket and soup in very pleasant surroundings.
The Lytham Kitchen – LythamMy first thoughts when Prezzo opened were "Does St.Annes really need another Italian restaurant", but after visiting on Saturday, I am glad they have. The menu was interesting with lighter options which was basically a smaller bowl of pasta or pizza with a side salad and low fat dressing. The food was delicious and I even had a pudding which is unusual for me. Will defo visit again.
Prezzo – St. Annes-On-SeaThe best takeaway in the area by far with the most AMAZING salt and pepper chicken. Deserves to be more well known, always fast delivery with added free items!
China Lodge – Thornton-Cleveleys2nd visit, it's the best for miles.
Spago Lytham – LythamVisited today and commneted to partner how quiet the place was and now I know why. I chose a sunday roast (beef) and I don't know where to start but this was probably the worst meal I have ever eaten. The only positive feedback I can give is that the the cauliflower cheese was hot. The meal consisted of 2 very small thin slices of beef and I strongly suspect that this was processed ready sliced beef. The yorkshire pudding were so over cooked it was difficult to cut them up. The rest of the veg were luke warm. The service was slow, especially considering it wasn't busy and the waitress never returned to our table. We decided to cut our losses and just leave because I really would not have wanted totry anything else from the kitchen......lessons learn't. We will not be returning to the Blossoms!
Blossoms Ember Inns, The – LythamEight of us went for lunch on recommendation from Sugarvine. We had a great meal and were particularly impressed with the way the staff dealt with our young kids. A weight off our mind so we could enjoy the adult company. Perfect for a family gathering.
Farmers Arms – Great EcclestonAhmet's is looking fantastic. It has moved next door into a swish new takeaway. This the old shop is becoming a wine bar, again run by Ahmet's. Last night was one of the best Kebabs I have eaten from Ahmet's! Good food and good people. That is all.
Ahmet Turkish Kebab House – LythamNipped in for a quick bite at around 6.30 last night. It was our first visit and we were both very impressed. We only had a course each and a glass of wine but all of it was very good. I had Sicilian sausage pasta that was one of the best pasta dishes I have had. The place looks amazing and would not be out of place in any city centre. Love the rich yellows that adorn the furnishings and the lighting is perfect. It has all been designed very well. We will go back and eat a full 3 course meal next time.
Spago Lytham – LythamWent for some Xmas wines with the girls. A great place for kids too. Now a regular haunt.
Plum Tree Farm – BlackpoolOn these recommendations we dined at the Mandarin. Good looking restaurant and good food.
Michael Wan’s Mandarin – BlackpoolNovello is a great little restaurant, slightly off the beaten track. We were there for a Christmas meal. Food was very good though portions small! Service and ambience were both good too. Can't say much about the company, as one of our fellow diners fell asleep at the table!
Novello – LythamLove this place, best brunch in town.
Salt of the Earth – Poulton-Le-FyldeWe all had a great time at the Olive Tree Brasserie last night. We had our office Christmas party and the food, service and live music were all top notch.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-SeaThis is a consistently good restaurant the food is always good I haven't experienced a bad meal yet food is really tasty and served hot, nothing is too much trouble. The staff are extremely helpful, friendly and respectful, always helping to make the dining experience enjoyable. To complete the evening the prices are also very reasonable for such a top class restaurant. Special offer menus are available as well as full al a carte. One of my favourite Italian restaurants. Definitely worth a visit.
Pizza and Pasta – Thornton-CleveleysWe had a great meal here - food was gorgeous and the service was brilliant!
Red Fort – LythamI love JP's cafe, the staff are so polite and helpful. The food Is absolutely fantastic, especially the home made soup. I also suggest the cheesecakes are too die for, especially the Oreo one.
