We both went to Italio on Friday night. Excellent evening. They managed to get us in despite only booking on Thursday- very helpful receptionist. It has a good atmosphere. Helpful & happy staff & plenty of them! Excellent meal –tasty / hot. We just had garlic bread/ lasagna and pasta arabiata-good sized portions. Two good cappucionos. We will be going back soon and have no problem recommending to other people but make sure you book first.

My wife and I enjoyed a very nice lunch at JP's. The place looks lovely and has only just opened. A lot better than the pancake place that was there before. Service was very good and friendly. Liked the touch of bringing our son a box of toys to keep him quiet. Our soup and jacket were very tasty and well presented, as was our son's pancake. We would recommend JP's.

The Black Bull Pub, Great Eccleston, This is an awful pub, very badly run by unpleasant unprofessional people. Over priced and a very poor standard indeed. I would never recommend this place to anyone

Food is superb, largest portions around!

First time at Novello in Lytham after a recommendation from a friend and we were very impressed. Italian food on the Fylde can be a little bit samey but the menu here offers some really interesting choices that you won’t find anywhere else. We both had the lovely open ravioli in a lobster bisque to start followed by risotto (smoked haddock for me and wild mushroom for my son). The selection of wines is excellent too, ranging right up to iconic names like Sassicaia and Tignanello. We chose a delicious Chianti. The ambience is very pleasant; less hectic but with a more upmarket feel than most other restaurants in Lytham.

A late night lads’ curry after a circuit of Lytham’s finest hostelries. Mohshina’s hit the spot and for the first time ever one of the boys ventured beyond Chicken Tikka Massala. It’s a very small and intimate venue and the bossman is a good laugh. I had their ‘special’ which was very spicy and did the trick. Recommended.

First time here downstairs at Portofino since their recent mini-makeover and it’s looking good. My colleague had recommended the chicken livers as the best around so I started with that followed by some surf and turf combination. Food was good and for such a successful and well-established business it’s nice to see the boss Orlando still heavily involved and not just taking a back seat.

Having a caravan locally we have found the Newton Arms good value for money and a good choice. Also the kids ate for a pound in the school holidays will be going next year when we come up, lovely food.

They got my order completely wrong, then when I called up to request a replacement, the very rude owner refused any replacement or refund, disgraceful!!!

Absolute gem of a place. Called end of season and had pavlova and another sponge cake, cream, schoux pasty, custard, manadarin creation. Amazing!

I run a fish and chip supper for about 26 elderly and disabled people in Molyneux Drive, Blackpool, close to Taylors. We always pre order our fish and chips, and collect them = and we get beautifully cooked fish and chips, already packed and put into my car - and thoroughly enjoy them. Wouldnt go anywhere else. First rate service by friendly people.

A quick warning not to go to the Coach and Horses in the hope of ordering food. The cook only prepares food on an ad hoc basis at times to suit himself despite the times quoted on all the advertising.

We had a lovely meal at Italio. We will return and would recommend to others.

Italio ... first visit last week & we'll be back. Great food & good service. Two minor points which might add some value : (1). the corridor from the pizza oven through to the back kitchen / store rooms ... New tiles need washing down ; (2). Male waiters & kitchen staff need to club together and buy a razor blade between them!

Ambrosini's is my favourite restaurant in the Fylde Coast. It's very hard to book a table as it's always full 2 weeks in advance. That says it all.

I've only been to the Chadwick Hotel for a business breakfast meeting. However their bacon sandwichs are the best of all the hotels we have had our meetings at.

Arrived here with my girlfriend expecting nice enjoyable meal however we had starters and main. My girlfriend always gets a chicken korma every curry place she goes and always eats it and likes it however this one was absolutely terrible and had a disgusting sweet coffee vile taste to it so much so she couldn't eat more than a mouthful. What was supposed to be an enjoyable meal with my girlfriend was ruined because management where not helpful and didn't even refund us for the meal she did not eat. Also to add insult to injury the toilets stank in the girls and we're not clean, what does this tell you about an establishment and the cleanliness of there kitchen if they can't even keep the toilets at the front of the house clean. Also feel ill hours later with stomach cramps. My lamb bhuna was terrible and the meat tasted off, the naan breads were dry and the onion bhajis were ready made out of a packet. The rice was also overdone. Worse Indian resteraunt I have ever visited the staff were rude when I politely complained and didn't refund my girlfriends uneaten meal. Do yourself a favour and avoid this at all costs no surprise the resteraunt was dead on a Friday night, Halloween aswell when every other resteraunt was rammed. Joke of an establishment.
