We eat out at least once a week. We ate here a couple of days ago and it was simply the best food that I have eaten in a restaurant for a long long time. Fantastic!

I went into this shop today for some chopped pork and ham ( the cheapest meat money can buy ) , a young girl served me , she gave me two and a half slices of meat and charged me 1.88 for this , I then sent my friend back to see about this , he went in and confronted the manageress about this , she put meat on the scales and it came up 60 pence. She then told him that he needed a receipt for this situation , so he left , went back ten mins later and spoke to the girl who served me , she said she did not have a clue how much meat she put in and she also mentioned that the customer didn't say she wanted a receipt. But are the shop assistant not supposed to ask the customer if they want a receipt instead of the other way around . my final point is that how many other people have had this same treatment and lost money through this shops incompetence .

This cafe has delicious home cooked food, friendly staff and very reasonable prices. Freshly made filter coffee is £1 to take out -beat that Costa.

Good burger and Buffalo Tray. Liked the German beer too, cannot remember the name though.

Had lovely meal authentic Italian the staff were very attentive and friendly only complaint was an extra bottle of wine added to a very straightforward bill of two main courses and two coffees in a reasonably quiet restaurant top tip always check your bill

Four of us had a two course lunch on 2nd September.We had Chicken Kiev which was excellent but there was only one choice of sweet which was Pear tarte which was reasonable but when it came to the bill the drinks were too dear, £3.25 for a tomato juice and £4+ for 1/2 pint of shandy. Shall eat there again but without the drinks.

Enjoyed a nice bite to eat here last Saturday, cod and fat chips is always a winner.

AWFUL service!!! Phoned for delivery at 8pm and arrived at 9pm. Totally the wrong order!! Telephoned them to inform them to be told the correct order would be sent. One hour and fifteen minutes later, still no delivery!! Phoned again to be told had been busy and u can have a delivery tomorrow or the day after!! !!!

Best Chinese takeaway in Thornton Lancs Best Chefs...Best Hostess.

My first time in the Taps for a long while last night. It seems quieter than it was, however I thought the beer spot on. Taps Best still a great pint. I notice they now offer pies which is good for blotting beer! Staff were very friendly and efficient. I will be going more regular again from now on.

5 of us attended a family birthday at the Grand Cafe in St Annes. The food and service were very good all round. The Eastern European gentleman behind the bar made a good first impression and his colleagues followed suit. My shrimps and curried fish were very tasty and well presented. All the family commented on the quality of the food. Recommended.

Most welcoming pub Ive been into for a long time , drink and food first class.

The most insensitive place I have ever had the displeasure to be near. On the weekend of the 70th anniversary of the Freckleton air disaster in which 38 infant children 2 teachers and 7 civilians died also killed was the crew of the aircraft and airmen on the ground !! The Coach and Horses have a noisy loud band playing outside untuned heavy rock music !! That loud that even the congregation could not hear the service properly. Many many friends relatives and people coming to pay their respects from all over the globe were disgusted that the tranquility of the grave yard and the solitude of the memorial grounds was devastated by the loud tuneless noise. The landlord / landlady should hang their heads in absolute shame !!! I think the establishment should apologise profusely and make a donation to the memorial fund !! I will be boycotting the place now for the rest of my life !!
