Vida Tapas and Bistro – LythamFirstly I must say that the owners are the most obliging people and so very helpful, as are the staff. Food very good, good quality produce and well cooked. Excellent specials boards, super value for money. I can say in all honesty I strongly recommend this restaurant, It is by far the best in the area.
Three Knott End – Knott End-On-SeaThe worst Chinese ever!! Do not order food from here! Crispy beef with awful sos hp brown sos!!!! They don't care if you not happy with food they will ignore you and be sarcastic with you. There is no manager you can talk to you and staff put phone down on me! Discounting customer service!!!
Wok Wow – BlackpoolEnjoyed my portion of fish and chips from Whelans. A nice touch that they have the floor turfed for the Worl Cup. Glad the takeaway was in paper not those bloody boxes! Keep up the good work.
Whelans – LythamWe really enjoyed our Drunk Buffalo experience last night. Firstly it's a great looking space upstairs at Henry's but I guess they could have made more of the pop up in terms of decorating the space. I was pleased to see a few excellent American craft beers in the fridge, which ties into this hip burger beard thing. The helpful bearded waiter explained all and that orders and payment needs to be made at the bar. The menu which looks similar to SoLita's in Manchester, was short and sweet. I had the Buffalo Burger and the wife the Drunk Buffalo (soaked in Jack Daniels). Both were very tasty, moist and filling. We shared a Buffalo tray which had fries, pulled pork and crispy jalapenos. Prices were reasonable, however I would expect fries included not as an extra payment. It all happend nice and quick too, so a perfect pit stop if you are on the move. We will definitely return and would strongly recommend to others. Normally these hip dining trends take a while to get to leafy Lytham, so well done Henry's for taking the plunge on this!
Drunk Buffalo Club – LythamGood food, good service, lovely decor, definitely recommended.
Michaels Indian Restaurant – BlackpoolVisited tues 17th June. Ordered British beef and Pedigree ale pie. It arrived and I was immediately disappointed. The pastry was turning white in colour, the gravy was crispy at the edges and virtually non-existent elsewhere. We asked for extra gravy and I was given a small gravy boat containing coloured water. I have no problem with the staff who were courteous and helpful but the food served up was disgusting. Crispy gravy? Just not on. How long had that pie been kept warm? When was it made? I dread to think.
Three Lights – FleetwoodWell what can I say a great place to eat if you fancy a proper American style gourmet burger or just a nice cold beer or glass of wine. Big screen TVs and great relaxed atmosphere, downstairs is the more formal award wining Henry's bar and grill and on a hot sunny day you can sit outside all in all a great place. Ten out of ten :)
Drunk Buffalo Club – LythamZest is a great place to meet up for a coffee. Bright airy and contemporary. The food is top notch too. I particularly like breakfast here.
Zest Food & Wine Bar – LythamThis little cafe had a pop up Brazilian restaurant last weekend. Fantastic to have such a quality experience so close to my front door. Great food, cocktails and of course the football. Hopefully we can expect more events like this from the Bite Club!
Park View 4U Cafe – LythamLovely food and atmosphere. Friendly staff. We will be returning soon.
Three Knott End – Knott End-On-SeaMalabar Indian Restaurant, Regent St Douglas has the most amazing Indian dishes, it had been a while since I had a really good Indian take away. The Malabar has exceeded my expectations, the food and hospitality are amazing. I wish them all the best in their new venture.
Malabar Indian Cuisine – Isle of ManGreat dining experience, wonderful food, attentive servers, and exceptional value - we will be back!
Three Knott End – Knott End-On-SeaExcellent food and service and very large and modern decor. I am surprised at the above review because it is very good.
Imli – St. Annes-On-SeaExcellent food well worth the visit and friendly staff. Obviously bringing your own wine is a bonus but with such tasty food, definitely worth visiting over and over again.
Olive Tree Brasserie – St. Annes-On-Seatest bad review
The Loft Nightlcub – St. Annes-On-SeaDropped into the Moghul last Friday for a late night curry around 10.30pm. Still going strong after all these years and owner Danny was on hand to say hello as always. Food was good and they always add in a free mystery dish which is a nice touch. Some more diners arrived after us which makes you feel a little less guilty about keeping the waiting staff out of their beds!
Moghul Tandoori Restaurant – St. Annes-On-SeaOMG! Can't believe the reviews I've read. This hotel is terrible. Its dirty, seedy and horrid. The dirty windows should have told us all we needed to know. The shower was indescribable and they wouldn't give us bleach to clean it. Didn't even manage to spend one night. Wouldn't allow my daughter to stay in a place like that.
