Oriental Village – BisphamLast night as a family we had dinner at Gennars what great time was had by all.The moment we walked in the atmosphere was great ,the food ,service everything .quite sometime since our last visit but hope to return in the very near future .
Dom’s Italian – Poulton-Le-Fyldei have been using the ghurka since it opened and eat there at least 4 times a week and due to the rudeness and extreme bad attitude of the recptionist over a peiod of mths i shouted at her on my last visit as i was so annoyed. my family and friends a total of 56 different peopple also use the ghurka regulary and now refuse to come as i am apparently barred. perhaps you need to realize that staff are there to serve the public and not be rude and bad mannered. all the other staff are absolutley marvellous and the restaurant is excellent and i would recommend the ghurka to everone. i now have a 3 people tonight coming to visit me and it was arranged 3 months ago to attend the ghurka for a meal and they are dissapointed that we can not come fo a meal tonight. yours faithfully mrs g ballance
Gurkha Hotel, Restaurant and Bar – Blackpoolhad an excellent lunch with my wife at the weekend. The pizzas are really good, something of a speciality, and the pasta with king prawns was great too, recommended!!
Bosco – LythamJack's has been a favourite for a long time now and we are so happy they are doing well! Now open for breakfast and the choice and quality of fayre is excellent as always, I would recommend the "eggs royale" personally but my wife has enjoyed the eggs benedict, full english, crumpets and croisants (not all at once!). In evening the standars is tip top as ever, I love the rib eye and the belly pork, so good I think we might go tonight!!
Jack’s Restaurant & Bar – St. Annes-On-SeaFAULTLESS!! FROM 6YRS TO 76YRS. FOOD, SERVICE, ATMOSPHERE, I DEFY ANYONE TO FIND BETTER. CAN'T HEAP ENOUGH PRAISE ON THIS PLACE. TAZ YOU'RE THE MAN!!!! THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND MY DAUGHTER "WILL BE ROUND FOR ICE CREAM"
Meherin – Thornton-CleveleysGreat meals I have had both times I and my family have been . Steak and chips to die for and some lovely twists on the menu . People of Blackpool, must try it !
Rowley’s at Blackpool FC Hotel – Blackpoolhad fish and chips there today sunday 19th of august the worst meal we have ever had in the b/pool area in 30 years.the chips had no taste and the fish was dry and overcooked(burnt)and to top it off the staff got hoover out while we were eating very rude (will never go again)
The Bake House – Thornton-Cleveleysfirst place we head for when in blackpool, far better than ramsdens.
Yorkshire Fisheries – BlackpoolVery disappointed. Dont get me wrong we have had very nice food from this establishment in the past and this would not be on here if we had the issues sorted. Firstly our food was delivered quite late taking 1 hour 15min. We then found that the order was incorrect. When we called we were quized for 5 min on how we were in the wrong. We explained that we had recieved a set meal for two that we didnt order. The reply was well you have more food so just eat it.
The Raj – FreckletonHave had 3 really tasy meals here whilst staying in Fleetwood this week.. Very good value for money and the meals are superb. Not small portions either especially the burgers. The children's menu could do with Pizza and a mild curry addin to it but all in all superb.
Mount Pub – FleetwoodVisited this cafe at 4.30 on Fri afternoon. Was greeted very warmly by a nice gentleman i presume was the owner. Only really wanted a quick cup of tea but was tempted by him to have a piece of cake too. Was then served by a woman who i can safely say is the rudest and most miserable looking individual i have had the misfortune to meet! I assume she is the owners wife as any employee with that attitude would surely be sacked. Needless to say i wont be returning despite the tea and cake being quite nice. Whatever happened to service with a smile?!
Fancy That – LythamJohn and I enjoyed an excellent meal 16/08/2012. Great service friendly staff.Definitely a place I would recommend and we will be back in the near future.Limited access for disabled via flight of stairs.
Gurkha Legends – FleetwoodWe are lucky to live in Poulton-le-Fylde and we love to visit Willow since this lovely family took over. We visited today and enjoyed lunch(as usual), made to order; just ask and you will receive any combination you require. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The best in Poulton!
Willow – Poulton-Le-FyldeMixed review really...We arrived at the pub on a Saturday evening, it was pretty quite inside so we thought we'd give it a go.After arriving we had to stand around until noticed, just to be told the table we had been seated at had been reserved and we would need to leave when the other guests got there. The ambience was ok, and the volume of music was fine. The food came very quickly and portions were great and tasted lovely! ... that was until we discovered the vinegar that we had splashed all over our lovely fish and chips had a dead earwig floating inside of the container..My friend politely brought this to the attention of what was presumed the landlady who didn't seem surprised and never even offered and explanation or apology, just simply put it on the side! It's sad really, the food was great, but the service was poor.
Colby Glen Hotel – Isle of ManAbsolutely disgusting, went in here on recent trip to Blackpool, the food was not fresh and was uncooked. My daughter had an ice cream and it had lumps of ice in it. Do not recommend, avoid at all cost.
Ashurst Cafe Royale – BisphamWe have been visiting the fish bar for years. But last night 9th of August, the service was awful. We waited for 10 to 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order which would have taken all of two minutes. Instead she prefered to clear tables. The next people sitting down where immediately served straight away. We called her over and told her we had been sittling here ages. She muttered something she would be back in a minute walking off with notepad in her hand. She didn't come back after the minute. So we left and I don't think we'll return again. In future we'll spend our money else where
Bellamy’s Great Eccleston Fish Bar – Great EcclestonAgain , just returned from our 42th annual visit to Blackpool . We have been experiencing this excellent food since the owner just had one shop. All my family love it there, everyday of our holiday we have our evening meal in Bispham Kitchens. It's clean, staff are always very polite and helpful, including greeing you at the door, brilliant food always lovely and fresh. Can't praise it enough! Lainy
